Here is how datum considers data; market value: data as a raw material is a marketing vision.
leverage: organizations that have data aggregate and collect it to reduce their cost or improve their pricing is the point of view of distribution.
a strategic asset value: Organizations that hold data can take or defend a position through them.
However, beyond the stock, it is today the circulation of the data which increases its value, and not its hoarding, even if it remains important to have a massive stock which feeds continuously.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Just checked the Datum demo again. https://demo.datum.orgI was wondering how will you store the data? In Europe there are a lof of new regulations regarding privacy and I was wondering how Datum will comply with this. The download link for the DEMO version in the App Store is inaccessible. There is no IOS demo app available as far as ik know. You can only test the demo on the website. A full fledged app will be available later. If you want to test you can use the demo app. It's still a bit limited but it give you the idea. |

and how many have a hardcap on the mainsale? 150000eth or more? I remember that rather big
Hardcap Datum is 61'200 ETH, including 5000 ETH raised on the pre-sale I dont know if it will reach hardcap. It's quite high, but that's not a problem. Its high for current circumstances, but they really had good marketing with their giveaway campaign and now we see they even pay celebrities to tweet out about the sale. It looks like they can get really close to their hardcap. |

Free offers actually a price. The sentence seems contradictory? To benefit from these services or offered goods, the customer must often provide information and accept that his personal data are used. It is therefore the product. With Datum it is clear and transparent and above all you are paid.

Nice to see that datum will be in the devcon3 ethereum fondation, nice to have a good visibility and to exchange with investors. Datum team handle the communication very well, investors like that.
