The only explanation I find, is someone is mining this via PoW (with zero rewards though )! Who is that? Did the developers switch ON a miner and forgot that?
That could be one of the reasons many wallets do not stake for a long time, as PoW steals the blocks.

From what I see in the wallet:
Current PoS difficulty is 3.68216
Current PoW difficulty is 0.0621106

The other reason is the wallet with massive amount of coins, which is definitely stacking the most. That wallet will be deactivate soon (cit.).

Yep, that low PoW difficulty makes it easy to mine PoW blocks. They are useless for getting a reward, but are nevertheless affecting the whole coin generation process, as the staking wallets will get less blocks, so inflation will be way less than 40% if this PoW doesn't get removed.

3) This would lower the difficulty , which would result in ease in mining difficulty and more minting probability for users .

the dev has already sold Droxne worth many BTC. Have a look at the OTC thread. Still, he must have a shit ton of coins left, but they are supposed to be used as rewards for gamers later on when there are actual games available.
