hey guys,   i just realized i got a stash of subs from  pre sale. Most of it i sold long time ago but forgot about the rest. Im thinking of keeping it for another year since technically its free extra money for me at this point. Is there a new roadmap or did the devs mention new progress coming up?

Yeah mate, me too. I bought some under one dollar too. Im really looking forward for widespread adoption of Substratum, In my opinion its one of the most legit projects around. Let alone that there is a real need for it. 2018 will be a great year for Substratum, at least I hope so!

SHIFT people already know about SHIFT. Here we have good investors, yes, but also totally blind sheep who buy whatever the marketing tells them to.

Every single decent alt-coin has gone up by like x10 the last month, so everything is growing.

Right now, as I said before, most people are not seeing a portfolio growth because of all this blind investing based on no-product coins.

SUB isn't 2.5 years old like Shift is.
SUB is very young and ambitious, have a great road map and STICK TO THE ROADMAP and DELIVER accordingly. This is what investors like me want to see, and this is why we put our money into SUB.

Now, if you don't have anything else to say than "SUB doesn't have a working product yet but Shift does", we've heard you the first time. Please move on.

I can't help that you've invested 80% Shift and 20% SUB, if it was the other way around you would have been telling everyone how great SUB is and will be. Please make your own investment choices and stick with them, and don't come cry in other topics that your coins are under-performing and not giving you the desired returns.

I find it weird coming back here (since I said I was gone), but I guess I actually have to defend Substratum (price potential) right now...

I have found that many "technical" coins that are really the best don't get the recognition their tech deserves, since the market is changing. Instead of the tech-focused people we had two years ago (when I first got involved), we now have people who buy into whatever is hyped up the most, or gets the flashiest marketing.

As a result, coins like Sub go up quite a bit (although we're still in the middle of a mass-market correction).

However, this also means that investing strategy needs to be rethought - personally I will always invest mainly in the objectively best coins, the ones the have a product, and perhaps also masternodes or PoS (which are both passive income - there is nothing new here), but I am starting to rethink the price potential of coins like Substratum, which are based on hype.

That's partially why I chose to invest in it in the first place.

Hype and FOMO are powerful factors in investing, and can drive up prices faster than you can believe.

You can currently upload only static websites to Shift testnet Phanthom.They will soon introduce dynamic support (dynamic website is for example this forum).

You don't need to download any program to host the website.Register and login to Shift testnet wallet https://wallet.testnet.shiftnrg.org/ and try it out (Applications--> Phantom).Also, new Shifts website is hosted on the Phantom and it's amazing fast! + They expanded their team (dev and marketing) and Isabella from Lisk joined the team and that's a big deal!

I will stay away from SUB as it's pure hype,there is zero code, December 2017 deadline for beta wasn't meet and the founders have a criminal history..
