What do you think about this?
I think nothing will happen with bitcoins, it is just the same with the past. Segwit is successful and there is the bitcoin and the bitcoin cash. I do not see some special features of bcc compared to bitcoins, and besides bitcoins are the original, bcc is just a derived form of the bitcoins. It doesn't mean that if bcc is from bitcoins it is a successful coin such as bitcoins had achieved it is upon the holders and the people who controlled it. Let's just witness the bcc and bitcoins. |

Well because of the price of bitcoins cash ( BCH ) is increasing will replace the bitcoins BTC, BCH's price is increasing it is just speculation from the traders and investors who takes short profit of this condition bitcoin's hard fork, we know bitcoins cash is very very new even BCH doesn't has the developer of team, i did not saw on their website. Bitcoins will be survive because right now BCH's price started decreasing. |

We didn't know what will happen now but just wait for the updates and changes about bitcoin and maybe they will affect alt coins. If bitcoin really die soon, many people that use bitcoin will be suffer so much. |

For now BCH still has the highest exchange rate among altcoin available in cryptocurrency but still below BTC. But I am not too sure of this progress BCH price seems to be able to survive in a moment . even i think ETH much better have the potential to Able to compete with bitcoin.

We didn't know what will happen now but just wait for the updates and changes about bitcoin and maybe they will affect alt coins. If bitcoin really die soon, many people that use bitcoin will be suffer so much. A large user base gets affected if bitcoin ends in a short. In my personal thinking bitcoin never ends, because the functioning is completely dependent on technology connected to Internet. These days further developments were happening with the Internet and these advancement keep bitcoin and digital currencies grow higher. |

So many came in and some many go out. What I mean is there were so many competitors to bitcoin before but they ended up in the list of long altcoins and some of them literally disappeared. With the hard fork situation bitcoin already shown us its mega potential and now the fact can not be changed that bitcoin would be more valuable. The value will come from its newly updated fan base after the hard fork. Bitcoin had been in the news while month so people now no more about it and its potential. |

So true but this price is only just a hype and soon many will dump this coin and die later on. Bitcoin stabilizes itself in the market and nothing can beat it and bitcoin has a long way to go than any coin. |

Sure Bitcoin will survive, BitcoinCash is not more than alt coin, for now it is still hot topic but after a few moments it will become common coin, Bitcoin already set a strong foundation, the usage is pretty wide, so no matter what coin appear Bitcoin will still become a top crypto currency
Bitcoin cash is a coin that has retained the original white papers ideas  , you can debate either way when it comes to the split,i am not having a problem to see two contrasting ideas coming through,it is a win situation for all the users as they do have a choice to pick which one they want,if bitcoin fades then the entire alt coin market will the dusted. |

I think because bitcoin rate has not fallen, that means serious players do not expect the end of BTC. It seems that BTC and BCH and all other altcoins will increase.
All depends on Trader and Miner that determines where the bitcoin rate goes

With the continuing support of the majority of the community, bitcoin would definitely see better days. Right now, even with the birth of bitcoin cash, bitcoin is still king, and would likely remain so for the foreseeable future. No amount of publicity from other coins would put bitcoin behind them for as long as people recognize that bitcoin is the most established and backed crypto currrency.

Bitcoin would have a greater value than BCC, but at this point in time I wouldn't say BCC would die, maybe it would exist with having 1/4th or lower the value of BTC. The survival of an altcoin or any cryptocurrency entirely depends on market adoption and the purposes it serves, real usages. An altcoin created for the sake of small-term profits, pump/dump, speculation, no real usage becomes non-existent within a short span of time.
Right now there is no question of would BCC be competing against BTC, more about would it survive the market. A month or so ago it was about flippening, too much hype about it, with ETH's crash it ended. The same with current BCC's cap, it would be highly volatile, it would have to survive long enough to have some stability.
Bitcoin just needs to have Segwit activated (which would happen this month) and put an end to to the scaling drama to remain as the top cryptocurrency.

First of all you need to know that thr coin BCC( BCH) is totally different from the network of the Bitcoin network directly because most of the people are using the Bitcoin for the trading and also with altcoins trading at exchange . But here in the current time people in this field have a option of another new coin that is BCC coin as an altcoin which is still yet like the tocken because no official wallets are available to use and also system network are not much responsive . So here you need to wait this whole month until the BCC get fully protected by the wallet and chain lock . And that will surely results into the increase innthe value of BCC but here some new changes of change in the size of the block are results into low fee and fast transaction ( same.like bch coin ) . So after this fork chances are more for thr use Bitcoin for small small transaction and increase the use more and more but still beside of the btc we have bch coin as a option which would also be your BTC like coin ( operating at the same private key currently ) . |

Honestly, i'm in doubt on bitcoins now but i am still hopeful that will reign forever and hope bitcoin cash will not take over. The trust that bitcoin built over the years cannot just be replace by BCC/BCH. In my opinion without having a single dev on BCC it may lead to unknown errors, well positively it can contribute but still we must not forget that BCC/BCH is still a money and they might have a hidden agendas that may lead to corruption and demonetization of BCH/BCC , it is better to stay in bitcoin. |

Dump your bitcoincash as soon as you can.
I dumped my free BCC yesterday on Kraken as I don't think it will go any higher. If everyone is selling this new altcoin, how can price develop? It can only go down the drain. |

absolutely yes. bitcoin can survive for sure. bitcoin is the only one and orginal cryptocurrency we all know. BCC is just an altcoin to be considered. we all dont know what happen next after this event. but im sure that the bitcoin survive and nothing to worry about that. when it possible that bitcoin will not survive. then the all altcoins have no value too when it also happens. now and then bitcoin will always up/raise and i think more gain to be on top and it has continueing to have a greter value at all. |

I guess the BCC doesn't affect bitcoin and I am confident Bitcoin will still remain a top crypto currency, It survive for so many years and it will lasts for more years as long as it's value will continue to appreciate and that many people will still use it. Bitcoin survival will depend on the demand of users, the more users it have, the more chance that the value will increase, imagine there is a limit amount of bitcoin circulating the market so when the demand cannot penetrate the supply the value will have to increase.
