Half a bitcoin win from just betting a few satoshis playing mines.

That is a pretty big win and this player hasnt even played too much with his total wagered amount of 0.43 in btc being below what they won. Smiley

This is indeed a really big winning 5 million multiplier which I have already tried it but nothing happened. But is this 5 million multiplier still available through this game? Last time I heard they already capped their limit to only 2million multiplier which is still hard. They even have this calculator on hoe to get max payout by using small amount of money

This is one of those bets that could happen very quickly or be impossible to hit. 500x is not a common winning and people who bet minimum 100 satoshi could go over 1 bitcoin without winning a single time or they could do like a few and still win. I think this one doesn't bring a positive house edge, I need to calculate the house edge of limbo and need to calculate possibility of hitting 500x and figure out how much it would cost on house edge plus possibility. Without that knowledge you can't really get to see if it is profitable to try this out or not.

At worst this is a fun way to test how lucky you are, maybe you won't win much but at least you would try to have fun and have a goal, otherwise you would be gambling normally without any goal other than making money but this way it gives a reason to gamble.

The house edge on the limbo game is 1%. It's not profitable in the long run but as you've said there's possibilities where anyone could win it in seconds or hours or never during their session. It may seem uncommon to win on 500x but if you look at their thread a lot of users have won. Several months ago they have a dice challenge on telegram, the multiplier needed for the challenge was 9900x and it was cleared quickly.

It is indeed true of what you said but to think that it is some game that can easily win them it wont be called challenge already. But because of this challenge many players try to win it as low as possible if they able to. This is just matter of luck, and btw ralle saying the house edge is 1% so it is pretty normal to some other game, especially dice game. So the best way is limiting your budget on this challenge if you can't afford to lose much here

Sure it's profitable you just have to beat the house edge by profiting more than 1% Wink

Also we offer you way more than 1% from our giveaways and bonuses Cool

That is why people join in the promotions, they think they can turn the house edge to profit, if you calculate what the reward is and what odds of finishing the challenge is and calculate how much you should lose on average (of course you can lose more or you can end up winning) then it becomes positive for the gambler instead of a 1% house edge, however it is not always that easy to calculate that.

For example, what is the odds of hitting 500x ? On average, how much should you lose before you hit it? Let's assume the minimum is 0.000001, what are the odds of hitting 500x ? Is it one in a 500? If that is the case which I have no clue if it is by the way then you need to wager 0.0005 to hit it. Now, my math could be way off, maybe I am super wrong but will you profit or not depends on the participant count and all but looking at how many people wagered I am pretty sure it won't be profitable at the end of the day when prize pool is shared between everyone.

Yesterday I saw some people were talking about "boost", some people said that they have just claimed this boost. Tried to find some more info through the forum but I cant find official topic about this boost. I only heard that it is something like a reward for VIP users but I also heard that not all VIP users get this new feature. Is it just a random feature?

Did you create the image on the topic long time ago? Look at the newest look or the game list of Stake http://prntscr.com/oz3jzr
You have just added it to your own forum site but it gives an old information of the site which is very unfortunate.
Also about the slogan "The high stakes casino", is it your own words? I have never heard anyone from stake saying such words before.

Been looking at various provably fair implementations on sites here and came across something weird. Basically all sites have 256 char server seeds, but stake uses a much shorter one. Can anyone more knowledgeable comment on why the server seed on stake is shorter than any other site?  Isnt this a security risk?

Well, theoretically this should not necessarily be an issue, but its a somewhat weird decision not to err on the side of caution. I would agree that 128 byte seeds (=256 hexdec chars) should be the minimum.

Is there any news about adding sportsbooks already? I mean the season already started and we have been waiting for it for months now, I am gambling on other websites so far and doing fine but I really would love to play on stakes sportsbook over any other because I trust you guys more.

The first time it was talked about was like 5-6 months ago probably, I am sure if you just went with it you could had a fully functioning superb sportsbook already in 5 months (not everyone can but you guys could). Hence why I am not sure what we are waiting about, can we please get at least some sort of update on where we are with it? Like have you found a name? did a website? built anything yet? Please tell me we will be capable of playing on it this season because I am not putting up any big outrights just yet in case you guys may show up.

Don't shorter seeds necessarily imply worse security? I know primedice already got hacked for millions. For now I am keeping my gambling money on stake (<1btc), but things like this concern me.

Hello, currently there is no news about that but seems it takes a lot of time. It was planned that sportsbook would launch in early 2019 but that may happen in early 2020 or in the end of 2019. Since it takes so much time for them to build sportsbook, I hope it's something amazing and exciting, they don't dash our hopes.
Btw same question was posted on their forum six days ago with no exhaustive reply: https://forum.stake.com/topic/25306-stake-sportsbook-will-be-the-best-crypto-sportsbook/

So I've looked into this and stake indeed does have the shortest seeds out there. YoloDice has 256 hexdec characters, which is 128 bytes of entropy, bitdice and betking both have 128 chars, with 64 bytes of entropy. Stake has 64 chars with only 32 bytes of entropy. Playing a bit lose?
