I came across an article this morning that, to me, really shows why the world needs a virtual currency. I'm from England, and there's a saying here that goes: "When America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold." The article discusses the history of the Asian Financial Crisis, and how we may be heading toward something similar.

It amazes me that we have a currency that can potentially protect us (working people) from global financial crises. This is unique and incredible time in history!

It really is debatable whether bitcoin's price will increase or decrease during an economic crisis. If people have no confidence in their governments and central banks, they might buy bitcoins. But if people consider bitcoin as yet another asset class, they might shift back to holding fiat cash or gold. One reason for the increase in all asset prices is the easy money policy of various governments.

we're heading towards the future, we might not even see it coming but cash will most likely go obsolete and almost everything will be interdependent on virtual systems. This is a boon as it can help spread digitalisation to the poor parts of our country and almost everyone will be able to earn through trading even if they are not highly educated.

That’s the main reason that people need something extra from their money and all this is possible if they invest into the cryptocurrency as we all know that crypto has a capability to generate huge revenue from investment and so far bitcoin has given a lot to the people that’s why people are asking for this coin to rule the world currency throne and as now btc usage is legal among many regions this will bring change.

Virtual currencies is the future and it will be adopted by every one. virtual currencies are not controlled by governments it only relies on the community behind it.

I think the world needs "virtual" (digital) currency because we're basically living in one (virtual/digital world).  Almost every action we take like shopping, selling, services are connected via the computer/internet/digitally, thus the creation of digital money.

I think the world needs Bitcoin due to the following reasons:

1) To facilitate cheaper trade and commerce without the fear of being robbed by banks of all profits that rightfully belongs to merchants.  
2) To engage into business worldwide without having to comply with all legal requirements and papers that are so tedious and expensive.
3) To control ones money.
4) To ensure ones transactions are secured, and your identity is not put at stake or will be used against you in the long run.

The above enumeration is not exclusive. There may be other reasons behind the move to cryptocurrencies.

In a world that has less and less physical contact where everybody is busy looking at their screens I think its premordial that virtual currencies exist to cope along the different phasesof technological advance that we are going through. When the something called value (not the promise of paying the value) is held by the large population, they will try best to defend their financial position in the global downfall since they own the control of their values. Crypto currencies would play a key role in the coming years that would transform the way we used to live in the financial society.

It is easy transaction if you use a virtual money or currency and more credible especially when you buy thing over the internet. And it is more secured than physical money if you hold it carefully, also it does not only gives you a new idea about handling money it also gives you an idea for the future of technology.
