Why the world really needs virtual currencies

I came across an article this morning that, to me, really shows why the world needs a virtual currency. I'm from England, and there's a saying here that goes: "When America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold." The article discusses the history of the Asian Financial Crisis, and how we may be heading toward something similar.

It amazes me that we have a currency that can potentially protect us (working people) from global financial crises. This is unique and incredible time in history!

I think virtual currencies or digital currencies are needed for faster transactions since there'll not be in need of going into somewhere just to buy, send and receive your money. It is also easy to store your money since everything is virtual and you won"t need a physical wallet to carry or store your wealth with.

It brings much more secure economy. For wallet will have tighter security and in return it will affect the market by guaranteeing the masses cashless society.

Indeed, people are intrested in to cryptocurrencies because they are untrackable, fast , and cost less then bank transfers, you can use them everywere withdrawing to your card and it is supported in a lot of countries

Yes definitely. The world really needs cryptocurrencies because it helps people in many ways. One example of that is, it helps people earn their own money to sustain their daily needs, to buy what they want and also to save money for their future. Having this kind of knowledge will benefit us all and money or financial needs will not be a problem.

Yes, the transfer fees were better, but now it has increased a lot, I think the same as the bank transfer fee. This is true only for Bitcoin, the Lithecoin transfer fee is really very affordable.

I think it help people making payment faster and easier when they want to make a deal worldwide. Before it was very difficult when you want to make a deal with foreign people come from different country but for now with cryptocurrency it's much easier and faster, you just need to spend few minutes to complete a deal )

Lol just bitcoin can make matters worse because bitcoin has decentralized and anonymous nature, surely corruptors will be more happy when they can do corruption and just disappear because of the help of bitcoin? there are many topics that discuss this issue and many people say that bitcoin lead corruption?

In todays world we almost all living in cities are using virtual currency all the time (netbanking, credit cards, online payment gateways from many mobile vendors). Before credit cards or internet banking it was very difficult to move the money from place to place. I meant the transfer of money was a lengthy process. Often would stretch over few days. We could even see this kind of performance today itself. Just submit a cheque of different town in a  different bank. It would at least takes three to four days to get money into your account. Whereas sending money from the internet or credit card, debit card, mobile payment gateway is instantaneous.

From what I've noticed, virtual currencies are able to proffer a safer trade structure in comparison to paper money. This is always an advantage to look forward to with the BTC industry rather than fret about fiat currency.

The answer is simple, because the development of increasingly sophisticated technology. in this modern age, even all the needs can be fulfilled with online shopping, and if the payment uses virtual currency too, then it will be more effective. I am sure that in the next few years, the world will use virtual currency as payment, as a effect of technological development.

to be honest I'm not sure about it. because some governments have banned the use of bitcoin in his country. Even now the virtual currency is the currency of the future but its existence can not be made sure to be valid for the transaction. if a country really needs a virtual currency I think it is a fresh breeze for the existence of bitcoin in this country. so bitcion may be accepted by the government.
