Price BTC after 23 August?

I predict the price goes up to over $5,000 before September.

Yup it's gonna sky rocket no matter what happens at that activation. On 23rd we will see another giant leap of bitcoin taking us to 5K plus value. If you can believe that then this is the right time to buy the bitcoin and lots of it if you can really afford it. We saw one segwit activation and its after effect and now we will be witnessing the other one. Hope that everyone enjoys this month.

If in my opinion, or my prediction bitcoin prices it will not reach $4500, but will still be above $3000 and close to the price of $4000 only. But hopefully it can melebehi with what i predict, clearly obvious i think bitcoin will not go down at the below price of $2000 i'm sure about it.

What will happen at 23rd august  I don't think there is anything scheduled for that date so predicting price for some random date like that doesn't make any sense. Price might be at over $4k by end of this august. Segwit gonna activated within next few days, that might affect the price alot.

August 23 — This is around when we can expect block 481824, which is when Segwit should activate. From this block on, Segwit transactions will be legal on the network. This also sets the activation date for BIP102 on Segwit2x to block 494784 (exactly 144*90 blocks later).

And do you honestly think that majority of the bitcoin holders/users are monitoring the situation to know that detail?
From my experience, I can tell you that most of Bitcoin users are not interested in what is under the hood.
They care only about potential gains and long term goals.

Exactly. but i think the important here is that more people are now aware of this august 23 segwit. I too have just read this and it gives option to hold some amount or to dump all of it. In general also everyone could profit in the long term. And i think if this has activated confirms would go faster and fees would decrease. But offcourse we need to wait  again for some time for it to be fully utilized if ever there are claims that something is wrong.

My prediction is also that about the price of bitcoin that's it's price will not reach to 4500$ because in two weeks it's price will not jumps to suddenly 4500$, may be the bitcoin price 4500$ will goes to at the end of the year. So I also think that its price will hit 4000$ after or before the date of 23 August. And right its price will never go down to below 2000 $ so it price will high more and more.

I think $4500

Yes I completely think so. We can refer the current situation with the 23rd one and correlate it to know what price could bitcoin have at that time. It seems bitcoin has already moved to +500 USD since a week and it won't be difficult for it to surpass the price of 4K really. This would be another effect of segwit2x activation and making bitcoin economy really healthy.

No matter what will happen Bitcoin price will always rise and hit another ATH.
But,in my opinion we will see another decline.it should be a week or around that time.
and yes,we will hit $4000 or even more this year.

Yes Segwit is activated and now we have to wait for 20 days to complete and if nothing is problem then here we seeing bitcoin working fully with new segwit features. And the price of bitcoin will be $4k +

NO, segwit isn't active right now, but only locked-in and scheduled to be activated on August 21st to take place in 2010 blocks, based on https://coin.dance/blocks.
For now, we've entered two-week 'grace period' until block 481,824 to give some time for miners to upgrade their software to support segwit transactions. After segwit be activated on August 21st, I am sure bitcoin price will reach $4000, even before segwit be implemented we could reach this price as the new ATH was $3500, $500 left to achieve.

I cant really pinpoint on the possible price of bitcoin on upcoming segwit activation but im rest assured it would really be more than on the recent price as of now. After August 1 hype now we are again speculating again on August 23. I would really love to see what would be the thing happen now just like on previous weeks. This would be exciting.

IMO price will hit 4000$  before 23 august. But noone knows exact price/date on this volatile crypto markets.You shouldnt expect big percent change on prices before September On september we will see highest maximum on BTC price chart IMO.

yes you are right, i just learn from eth hard fork, afte4 they split to etc and eth, eth spike, btc will goes up and bch will not worth more then 1/10 btc value..

I don't think any notable event could gonna happen on 23rd August but keeping the fact of inflation in price of bitcoin after the 1st August's fork in mind, it may be concluded that the price can reach up to 3900-4000$ till that time. But it may also probably hike up to 4500-5000$ in a month or two.

As per my experience on market, this time is last month and usually have big crash or big pump in this week, because this is period between two months and new candle will be green on the first of every month. So, be carefully in last week of this month if not want loss a lot of money.

The current chart looks very good, bitcoin prices are increasing rapidly and in high quantities. Other than that the price reduction was not too much so I can say save bitcoin is currently safe enough to avoid the loss. Look at some possibilities then there will be another bitcoin price increase, we just wait and see the results while hoping there will be a positive rise that occurs.

We must not be over confident yet, who might knows btc price on that date will go down for the main-time because as of now many of those who had invested is waiting for another price spike to happen. Yes and if you will not sell your coins before that then you will be benefited in long term as even price goes down at that time it will bounce back soon and at the end of the year price would be much higher so the best thing is to hold your coins.
