Yes, it's a shame that another project probably died, that the developers did not have the strength to bring their ideas to completion and revive the project  Wink

Just so people reading this know - the chain is still running, just slowly and with very few transactions.

If you want to make sure that you are on the right chain and up-to-date, I have uploaded a zipped copy of the 'blocks' and 'chainstate' folders here: https://www.kethiel.org.uk/monoeci/monoeci-chain.zip [372 MB] and my peers.dat file: https://www.kethiel.org.uk/monoeci/peers.zip [401 KB].   Before unzipping either, back up your current data directory.  If you are going to extract monoeci-chain.zip, move or delete the 'blocks' and 'chainstate' folders in your data directory first.

DO NOT DELETE YOUR WALLET.DAT!

When you start the Monoeci wallet after this, you have to wait until the next block is added to the chain before it will finish syncing.  Due to very few transactions being sent currently, and very slow mining of blocks, this could take a few days - you'll need to leave it open if you want it to sync (and you'll have to do the same again if you close the wallet).

Do you know if there's any exchange where you can still sell this coin?

I don't understand how this coin started with public recognition, development and volume and then they just decided to exit scam killing the idea and everyone that believed in it. I bought 1,000 XMCC a while ago from cryptopia. Scam exchange and scam coin, couldn't made a worse decision  Lips sealed

In fact, the coin does not have and did not have a community.
As soon as one developer left, the project died.
No decentralization.
Nothing prevents people from joining together and continuing the project.

Together we are strong!
But no one wants to do anything, everyone expects someone else to do.
but there is no one besides you.

Is this project dead?
The project has been dead for a long time, and there are very big doubts that it will be revived again ,conversations are being held but nothing concrete is inaudible  Wink

"Hi there,
I'm trying to retrieve some monaco coins I had on my desktop wallet back in 2017. I redownloaded on github the latest version of the monaco coin wallet (which seems quite depreciated), but the wallet does not sync on the blockchain (4 years and a half behind).
Do you know what my options are to try to get my coins back?
Any help on this would be much appreciated Smiley
Thanks!"

Code:
45.76.143.97:24157
212.83.166.157:24157
create a file in the blockchain folder monoeci.conf
and add these nodes to it.
Synchronization should start.

At one time, it was a good promising project.
There were a meeting, T-shirts, mugs with the project logo.
But something went wrong and the developers left the project.
the community could not find the strength to continue the development of the project.
Now this is a dead project.
