It is possible CPU mining MonacoCoin?

Possible: Yes
worth it : No

its X11 coin, you need ASIC's to mine this coin. and with ASIC this coin is hard to mine.

Right...
I found this coin very interesting, but at the moment I have only notebook available, so it is harder to mine.

Anyway thank you!
you could look at renting hash.
or i belive there are some coins that only have CPU mining, but IMO laptop cpu wont be able to compute with the Desktop processors on that side too.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Since developers plan to increase masternode reward since January, it is better to buy masternode. there will be no different at all.

Yes, at the moment I am mining Coins with only CPU mining.
The hashrate is really low, but that's what I can do right now.
But yes, it might not be worth it, only if the currency grows significantly.

If I were you, I won't do that because of sentinel.
Currently, sentinel isn't working on windows. So you will see "WATCHDOG_EXPIRED" error.

I recommend to use linux. More safe, more stable.

im setting up a master node on a virtual machine on my pc. is it possible? using ubuntu 16.04*server
because im getting a lot of problems.

setting this :
USERNAME=$(pwgen -s 16 1)
PASSWORD=$(pwgen -s 64 1)
cat << EOF > ~/.monoeciCore/monoeci.conf
rpcuser=$USERNAME
rpcpassword=$PASSWORD
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
server=1
listen=1
daemon=1
maxconnections=24
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=PRIV KEY HERE
externalip=IP DU SERVEUR VPS
EOF

than monoecid
it give me error/invalid about "cat"

removing cat i got full sync , i put sentinel and it sems to work, the last problem is setting masternode.conf (alias IP:port masternodeprivkey collateral_output_txid collateral_output_index) modified to merge my config, the wallet return me always error about error reading masternod config file.
Im i doing something wrong or is because masternode and wallet got same ip because im in nat with the vm? plz help

Monaco is a pretty foreigners-friendly country, so it would be cool to visit it with some Monaco-coins in your wallet!

What would be even cooler is if it takes adoption in Monaco.  But I can't see that happening due to the EUR being their currency already.

  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Mining pool is incomming in few time, actually difficulty is very low you can solo mining.

Last week a new pool mining added to monacoCoin project Smiley

Hi do you still recomend solo mining? or is it better to join a pool? if so which pool do you recomend?

If you're the type who can wait for days or even a week not seeing any progress until the very end, solo mining could be for you.

If you have ADHD like I do, normal mining that shows payment in small frequent increments is fine.
