If you don't do it, your masternodes will not be able to synchronize with the blockchain in some weeks.

I have updated server and client as a guide. Everything works properly, thanks to the developers!

Hi. I have some trouble setting up my masternode. My wallet is already encrypted, so do i have to unlock it before setting up my masternode? I have send 1000xmcc to  the generated address but i think nothing happened...

For the masternode you need a linux server, have you read the complete setup guide?

when I run this command
  ./monoecid

I have error
./monoecid: error while loading shared libraries: libzmq.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

please help me

I made a mistake in the Linux version, I actually had version 14.04, and I followed the instructions for 16.04.

When I used the instructions to 14.04, everything went without error.

Sorry first timer so maybe a really dumb question

I'm trying to setup masternode, I have followed the pdf instructions and all went well , I have downloaded wallet, transferred 1000xxmc , setup server  until the part of logging in via Termius (windows)

I have saved the public key to my profile in https://www.scaleway.com/  . I used putty gen (windows ver) to save my public and private key but I'm not sure how to paste my private key into the termius Key preferences, I can only save the private key as a .ppk file from putty but then cant view the actual private key to paste it into the termius key chain

Am I missing a step? I get a error when i then try and connect to my server via termius

connection closed with status: privateKey value does not contain a (valid) private key of root@(my server ip address)

Hi, I was following the pdf manual from the latest newsletter Monoeci Newsletter 12/12

"we made a totally new tutorial to create a Monoeci masternode, you can find it here : http://dl.free.fr/oz6FfniWH (PDF to download)"

And this requires a private key with the termius keychain info ,(page 12 and 13 of the pdf)  you can't save the keychain dialoug box in termius without the private key , I can copy and paste the public key no problem

I have also found the manual from the website which doesnt use the Termius program it uses Bitvise I'll try using that instead of Termius

Having the same issue here, I can find the privatekey by opening into text editor software - but once I enter the key, it doesent work no matter how I do it...

Use bitvise , I used it and it worked fine. I couldn’t get termius to work, you can use the same key from putty follow the tutorial manual on the website for how to use bitvise
