What great news for Zoin. The Zoin masternodes are coming next friday. This is a major step for this great project. I really think we will see 10 - 15 Dollar per Zoin be the end of the year.

The payment is 65% of the block, block is 12.5 zoin. Block time 2.5 min 576 daily blocks
Payments work in line. If there are 150 nodes in network, your node will get paid 12.5*0.65=8.125 zoin every 150 blocks. If your node goes off u go to last and lose that payment even if you are number 2 in line.

I am a big fan of Zoin, I still don't understand why the MC is so low, but OK... it probably has something to do with the limited adoption around the globe and the maybe too little marketing?

my question, what is the purpose of a web wallet? why is it preferable compared to a desktop wallet for example? is it merely to avoid problems if your computer crashes?

Web wallets are easier to access on the go. Try pulling out your desktop wallet to buy coffee... I personally prefer desktop wallets but web wallets are convenient for quick access.

It looks like Zoin can be one of the TOP coins in 2018. What i see at the moment is really impressing to me. The dev team and the whole community are doing a great job. This coin is a steal and will be at 20 bucks at the end of the year.

1) open a command line interface
2) move to the folder where zoin.exe is.  You may create a new folder and rename the zoin client to make it easier. Like this: c:/zoin/zoin.exe
3) type "zoin.exe -reindex" and hit enter. The wallet will start, reindex which takes 1-2 hours, work again

Masternodes will not work unter Windows and you will need a fixed IP

Why are they killing the miners? 4 coins/block reward? That's not even sufficient to get a ROI. Would have been great if they reduced the emission to 60 seconds.

It's a matter of price only. But I agree that 65% MN reward is not good at all.
