I was wondering, everything is going great so far for ZOin, but still the price is crashing lately. How come? what is the link with the Zoinodes? Has it got something to do with the reward in comparison to the 'normal' miners?

is this the end of a coin that had a great future? I am just trying to understand the dynamics again of this coin

In my opinion it is not the end of zoin, on the contrary, it is only the beginning, everything goes well with the development of money and the community grows more and more.
The price is also given by the huge drop in the crypto market, but as things get better we will see a good increase in value, given that over 2 million coins are still in Mn.
Have a little patience and you will reap the benefits

thanks for your reply, but to be fair, not quite satisfying. on what is your POV based? yes there is a general drop in the market, but zoin has been going down a lot more than the rest and especially lately , so i refuse to accept that the price drop is due to general drop of market. further, we had nothing but good news: zoinodes, webwallet, upcoming roadmap, growing community... and STILL the price drops. So I am wondering why that is.

You tell me... would love to hear a good explanation. It seems pretty irrational from a development point of view. The team has pushing the development to the moon. You don't see this speed of development that often.

Actually that is not factually true. If you take ATH of Zoin in usd 3.71 and ATL 0.70 cents, Zoin will have one of the lowest price drops. I mean Monero is number 1 coin with lowest price drop from ATH to ATL from top 20 coins and it still dropped 51%. While top 20 coins have way less volatility than low volume coins like Zoin does.

The screenshot of the voting system at the new zoin wallet is looking awsome. Zoin is a truely incredible coin and project. This year we will see prices above 20 dollars for sure.

To put things in perspective:

In the last 5 months we've seen Zoin increase over 500% in the value of the coin. In the span of those 5 months the team accomplished the following:
 -BTC core and full time Zerocoin protocol implementation
- Web Tor Wallets launched
- Countless upgrades to the desktop wallet
- Masternode (Zoinode) launch

In addition they have still have mobile wallets, in-wallet voting, and upcoming partnerships lined up for this year.

If you're feeling frustrated you need to exhibit patience. IMO, the Zoin team has demonstrated, based on their focus this year, that they are committed to user adoption above all else. That alone should instill confidence in anyone holding this coin. They have built the infrastructure to allow for this adoption, and I'm excited to see how the Zoin team will continue to focus on scaling.

In other words strong tech + user adoption trumps all and will eventually reflect in the price of the coin.

I think I am going to officially wave the white flag on mining this coin.  1x i7-6700 and 2x i5-3400 after about a week of mining and my balance currently sits at .314

I guess maybe if i had a server farm id see better results?

agreed, can mine all other larger coin and receive more - they killed any hopes of new miners or supportive community CPU mining Zoin - knocking the miner rewards close to nothing now. Who wants to CPU mine a coin for NOTHING?

   Why have someone running an 'OFFICIAL' Zoin pool who regards his own personal employment more important than the Zoin pool he signed up for to support and run Ok, great you work and keep your job - no problem - but when Zoin is in the middle of a VERY critical hard fork and goes DOWN - your going to ignore the pool and position that YOU included yourself in for SEVERAL DAYS with NO RESPONSE to devs, pings, pm's - and then get an all pissy attitude when the obvious abandonment is brought to your attention when you FINALLY show up. GTFO - last we all checked, remote maintenance is possible these days, it even works when your out of town, unless you DGAF.
 Don't step up if your gonna commit to only letting everyone down, there is no excuse.  

So many other continuing BAD decisions with Zoin community - and only gets worse.

 This is why you see all the dumps, miners finally moving on.

 Zoin community is masternodes now , only thing happening here is watching each others Zoin transactions over Zoin blockchain.

From the design point of view, it is true that the price does not reflect the real development, the market has had a great crisis and many coins have collapsed after the peaks of December / January, zoin grows but still has several cards to play:
New "big" exchange, increased marketing investments and user growth.
There is a long way to go, but the team does not stop and this leads me to believe that there is a rosy future for zoin
