Where did you get that information? This is not a coin burn. They will be releasing new NIX platform.

Can you please let me know what does the NIX platform actually mean for me as a Zoin Coin owner?
I have some Zoin coin in my desktop wallet, are they affected in anyway by NIX platform launch.
Do I need to do anything with my coins?
Please advise.

I have to agree with you. Zoin needs some bigger exchanges, but they will come after the release, because a lot of people will recognize how big this Coin is. I also think the price will reach more than 10 Dollars soon.

This is true, the most traders have a cryptopia account, but the daily trading volume is not very high. With bigger exchanges there is a much bigger chance that the trading volume of Zoin is also rising.
