I am curious that whether gamblers can be truly anonymous if they don't use TOR when logging in accounts on PrimeDice. I guess the answer is NO, but can you confirm this, please. I believe that basically, online casinos can not guarentee privacy of their users, in terms of users' logging IPs if they don't use TOR when log in their accounts on PrimeDice. Even Primedice does not have intention to disclose user IPs publicly, there are risks of data leaks somehow. Consequently, the best way to stay anonymous for gamblers is using TOR by themselves.
As long as you wouldn't submit a KYC then I think you are still anonymous ,
And IP would only store your username if I am not mistaken so as long as it wouldn't link to any of your real information then you are safe .
But if you don't really trust the system then you could use TOR just like you said.

The answer could be yes and no IMO. Yes, everyone can be anonymous while playing on primedice (as long as your IP's country allow you to play on primedice), but it could be No too, especially when you want to cash out big amount, the withdrawal will be processed by manually by them, it means, they (might be) asking KYC for your withdrawal
Thank you for your reply and others for their replies to my curious question on anonymity on PrimeDice site. I understood better that Primedice has good security method to protect their users, but users themselves have to be careful with their habits on Internet as well as on Primedice site. For KYCs to do big withdrawals, I don't think I will fall into such cases, so I can eliminate it from potential risks of losing my ID. Even someone have to do KYCs for their huge withdrawals, I don't think probability to see data leaks from such reliable and very big site like PrimeDice is so rare, barely unable to occur.

We don't ask for KYC on big withdrawals only on suspicions withdrawals.
IIRC there was an accusation thread about someone who not be able to withdraw his/her money because PD asked them to provide KYC first (can't find the thread).
On what case you think if that's suspicious withdrawal?

Let say If a whale using new account, deposited big amount, and after that he wins and want to withdraw, is his withdrawal considered as suspicous?

P.S before people become misunderstood with what i'm saying on above.
I'm just asking, it doesn't mean i don't trust PD. PD still one of trusted gambling sites for me.

The market's have been having a rough week but Bitcoin still holding around the $8.000 mark
Let's wait and hope for the price rise with next bull run for BTC.
Are you going to HODL or withdraw it now afraid of some drops?

I have a big love in bitcoin, but honestly I thought that bitcoin has made a very far journey since later of 2018. Within that last two months, there are so many articles, topics, discussions that bitcoin would have corrected, but it has kept rising and rising. However, for now, I believe that it is a time of 'real' corrections for bitcoin. The coin has to be corrected significantly to wash out greedy investors, and accumulate new momentum for its upcoming bull run. For PrimeDice, I am interested in its current vote on most favorite coins to be added in the future.

They might consider it suspicious if the accused was suspected of cheating in some manner. The terms of every gambling website clearly state that they have the right to ask for KYC under such shady conditions.

In terms of big wins, they have always paid out without fail which have they have become one of the most reliable crypto gambling sites over the long term. If there were problems related to big withdrawals, this site would have failed a long time ago.

No, that would not be suspicious account. Even if somebody deposit smaller and wins big it would very rarely maybe get flagged as suspicious but probably very rarely.

As for how we detect and what we consider as suspicious we obviously cant disclose that publicly Cheesy .

I wonder if there are any different legal approach to stable coins when gambling on primedice. We are all wondering what the next coin added to primedice will be but nobody really asks for stablecoins. Think about putting USDT or USDC (or any other stablecoin) into primedice and let people bet with actually dollars (almost). That would be very different from all other coins, we always talk about how much dollars bitcoin or ethereum worths but this would be 1 dollar to 1 dollar and would never
change neither.

I am in no way fan of stablecoins at all and I never buy them, I am either always on bitcoin or if I need money I trade to fiat directly but it would still be different feeling to play with fiat currency.

Things like USDT are not actually stable coins, IMO. The reasons are even they worth nearly one dollar for each USDT or USDC, but USDT actually built on the bitcoin network, and it is bitcoin-second-layered altcoin, nothing more. It means USDT is very vulnerable to any kind of changes on Bitcoin network, such as network congestions, or fee fluctuations. Whenever serious things occur on Bitcoin network, we will also see serious things occur with USDT.  Smiley

USDT is using the Omni layer of Bitcoin network so I don't think its actually considered second-layer. Second layer would be more like the lightning network where you can do transactions outside of the Bitcoin network but with Omni network you still need to do it on the main network. The only benefit is added security due to the huge bitcoin hashrate.

Back in Q4 2017 it was actually annoying using USDT because you had to pay the same fees as with BTC, sometimes as high as $50 just to send a single transaction so you are correct. However right now USDT is used on the ETH network and I think EOS or TRON (forget which) also added a USDT option, so that issue is pretty much handled right now.

The only time there were issues with USDT was due to Bitfinex FUD, where people were assuming Tether was a fraud and it would go to $0 and caused massive premiums compared to fiat.

I wonder how much was the capital of those who have win in a huge multiplier.
And how much did they actually won I mean they wouldn't get it on just 1 try so I wonder how many times did they do it in order to win.

I haven't checked the stats on this yet but I wouldn't be surprised if they took a bunch of bets prior which were all loses and their win isn't exactly a full 2 BTC.

Usually when there is a large win like this with very small odds of winning the gambler has been placing bets for a while and they are either at break-even or sitting at a small loss.

I have tried to bet like this before and usually if I am betting at 1% win chance, I would take almost 100 bets and they are all losses and when I finally got a winning bet, I would just quit. I think this strategy works best if you win somewhere in the first 25 bets or so and then you got a better edge.

Just fyi, i was betting at 1% winning chance too and the longest streak losses i did was around 180 bets before it hit.
This strategy will give you profit if your bet hit in less than 99 bets, or you hit it multiple times after some bets. My record i was hit 3 times in my 10 bets while betting on 1% winning chance. The sad news is i only used small amount while hit that 3 times

The chance of winning this bet in the first try is very small, but the chance of winning it before 100 tries are good. But definitely a nice win, congrats to the lucky winner.
Did you ever tried it? Lossing more than 100 streaks is normal at 1%, so you can't say you will surely hit it in less than 100 tries

I just realized that for joining the telegram giveaways user should be spend 100$ worth crypto in casino games.  Is that right? Chat is not allowed for users who wagered less than 100$ crypto.
Yes you need to wager at least $100 in order to use the chat box on the site.
I think they did it to prevent spamming or begging on the chat box.
And in order to prevent alt-accounts on abusing the giveaways.

💰  Wow! Look at this massive profit of 2 Bitcoin from a payout multiplier of 99x!
Retweet this post and comment your Primedice username and 3 people will win $3 each!

I wonder how much was the capital of those who have win in a huge multiplier.
And how much did they actually won I mean they wouldn't get it on just 1 try so I wonder how many times did they do it in order to win.

The chance of winning this bet in the first try is very small, but the chance of winning it before 100 tries are good. But definitely a nice win, congrats to the lucky winner.

On Stake one guy caught 100x he wagered 0.025 btc just 8 times . It was realy luck to get 2.5 btc .
Once, with a balance of 0.25btc , I tried to catch 100x, 220k for one hit and caught only trolling .
