Lurking a few highrollers on Primedice I was asking myself: why is a 0.001 BTC bet considered to be under the HR requirement?
I guess it is the sign of time passing: 5/6 years ago one would have considered a 100 or 1000 btc bet like high rolls.
Sometimes I tend to forget what bitcoin was able to achieve in such a short lifespan (and it is not over yet). 

Yeah man times have changed and I remember how betting even BTC0.01 was not considered a highroller and even rains of 0.01 among users were appreciated obviously, but not hyped. Now if someone wins BTC0.01 it feels like they have conquered the world. Maybe in the future when the price is 500k, we will see BTC0.0001 bets being on HR tab, which even while thinking feels crazy.

I am really amazed about the fact how many pages this topic already has on the forum. Is this not the gambling topic that is the oldest one by far?
At some moment, it would be like an anniversary to reach number of X pages 

Actually, PD was one of the first few casinos in the crypto industry and you can see that by when Stunna posted this thread. Even though PD has a simple dice game but honestly speaking, I still feel at home when playing PD and I miss some friends from the old time when I first joined here.

True. Take me, for example. Knowing well that it has nothing to do with reality, I feel like I should hit below 1.00 after hitting above 98.99, so I change sides right away, and sometimes it works for me,  but it's not like a knowledge that I can use to be winning more playing dice. Rather, it's adding more fun to the game, that's all.

I am surprised someone else thinks just like me, when I get a roll above 90 and I am hunting a 10x multiplier then I change from over to under because I have a feeling that under 10 has better chances now given I already have hit above 90 once. To a certain extent that works though because if I make a list, I am sure once I hit 90+, there are more often I hit under 10 than again hitting over 90.

Maybe it has something to do with how primedice looks because there is a line and numbers appear from left to right based on what number appears and once the bar moves towards the extreme right side, I feel like it will come towards the left now.

I could win 198x two times in a row, using that strategy, but unfortunately I was hunting for 990x, so I won nothing.

But of course in reality there's no such thing as higher probability of hitting below 1 after hitting above 100. It's just the way our brain works: quickly forgetting anything that doesn't satisfy our theory, and remembering things that do.

The same being got from dice, for such a multiplier of 9900x user has got the winning chance of 0.01%. The user might've placed the bet playfully, and the luck has stood with him. That bettor has lost a lot before he hit that i believe. I ever run a bot which hunting for 9900x and the red streak was even more than 30k reds (fortunately i've pre-roll first so it didn't consumed my balance). Hitting 9900x isn't very rare in dice game anyway, i've seen many people hit that too, but most of them were with small bets

Very unlikely. Most bets that end up with such wins are never a "one-off" play. The players mostly set the settings for the game and put in the money to run that and allow it to roll and stop when the multiplier hits. This makes sure to drain the balance as well in case luck does not favor you but also give the big win in case luck does favor.

If such "playfully" wins would happened then the casino would not be making a profit. Of course the amount lost to the amount won is already high.

The irritating thing that happens with these play modes is that often you might end up hitting the same multiplier on the opposite side

but I think he must have taken a lot of losses for some time until he managed to get it right, and it’s difficult that he just played without having a lot of defeats and soon got it right. these dice games are very patient games and do not guarantee that the person will leave with a profit, in my case for example, until today I never won anything significant playing dice, I play for fun. something I've been observing, with high bitcoin fees people are using litecoin and doge to play dice... in the past it was like that, but it seems that now it is more frequent to use doge and litecoin

Like i said, i ever faced more than 30k reds while trying to hunt that multipler, but there were also few times it hit in less than 10k bets or even 1k bets. Playing on site which allow you to bet "0" is really help you to max your profit (you don't need waste your bankroll to do pre-roll then)

@janggernaut I have tried following what you say using PD monthly bonus, but each time I ended up going bust only. However I haven't ever used 0 bet as a strategy, and that’s something I’ll keep in mind when I chase a big multiplier.

But yeah, I place very small bets, so my biggest win(in Bitcoin) was 0.007 BTC, around $5 at the time(although today it's $400, OMG! ). And there were higher wins USD-wise at the time of betting, but never above $40.

Which is right   try harder if you really want to win that huge mulitiplier. I was able to catch that up but just a small amount using
doge if i remember it right.

There's no strategy but pure luck and patience in chasing, and most is, enough balance to continue playing while waiting for the chance.

The strategy you use is very good, in fact I have tried to do it again but I have not had much success, the truth this week I have not had much luck, when something like this happens to me, I wait a few hours, sometimes even 1 day and try, When I take profits they are very low, in fact micro profits but what I have had as a teaching is that every time you win like that, little is better than losing, which in general is usually a lot.

When I apply the martingale strategy I do it with much less bet, I am not able to bet with $ 5, because it is easy to reach $40 and lose. In automatic betting I like to leave it only for a short time. If you hit $400 it's because you really have a great strategy, keep up the good work.

The user may have lost more than 9800 times before winning that bet with the same bet size based on the winning possibility % attached to that bet. It was very 'lucky' for the player to get that bet hit that number and make him win that huge prize. Changing the seed one after another will lower the chances of that player because that 1:...? starts to work again.
