Maybe you should try harder. Even though I don't use autobet for hunting for 9900x, and usually it's not more than 200-300 tries, I won it around 10 times. But yeah, I place very small bets, so my biggest win(in Bitcoin) was 0.007 BTC, around $5 at the time(although today it's $400, OMG! ). And there were higher wins USD-wise at the time of betting, but never above $40.

The strategy you use is very good, in fact I have tried to do it again but I have not had much success, the truth this week I have not had much luck, when something like this happens to me, I wait a few hours, sometimes even 1 day and try, When I take profits they are very low, in fact micro profits but what I have had as a teaching is that every time you win like that, little is better than losing, which in general is usually a lot.

When I apply the martingale strategy I do it with much less bet, I am not able to bet with $ 5, because it is easy to reach $40 and lose. In automatic betting I like to leave it only for a short time. If you hit $400 it's because you really have a great strategy, keep up the good work.

Not only 9800, but more than that. We can also hit that in less than 100 rolls, just pure based on our luck when he hit that. We can also didn't hit that as it goes wrong direction (we choose low but the result is high).
If there is low/high number hunting contest, it would be more get more attention with this high multipler

Thank you, but it wasn't $400 at the time of hitting, because, like you, I try to never risk significant amounts. When hunting high multipliers my bets, USD-wise, are usually not higher than $0.002, so I lose around $0.5 in total after 200-300 unsuccessful rolls.

Depends on how much the lost amount before hitting the huge multiplier. Hitting huge multiplier is not guarantee that you make profit as it is possible that once you hit it but it does not even recover what you have lost while hunting it. Lets say you do flat bet $1 and you hit it after 15k bets, means that you are still in negative. It will be different case if you hit it earlier (at least before 9900x bets).

Let use the term addicted gambler instead of stupid, I am sure many others reading this thread will have such an impulsive decision at some point in their gambling "career". 

I was wondering if any such player had actually stopped midway and accepted losses and moved on. That person would have actually saved their skin and a lot more money than what they would have lost. But that is what gambling is, you have a chance to win but you may lose a lot of money trying to win it.

Some of these players get lucky like the one you mention. But many dont and this should be a lesson for those who are gambling everyday and spending money on EV- games.
