Stunna/Torba: I hate to be a downer again, but it's the same story as usual over at PD. Bets are either lagging immeasurably, or simply not working at all.

Great idea. We'll soon bring minimum tip back down to 10k satoshis, but make it you need at least 50k satoshis to tip. This will be the same with PvP - You will need a minimum of 50k satoshis to play PvP. As people are also using this to abuse faucet Thanks Basically you need 50k to end out 50k tip to bank account, which makes same as it was before. I would rather leave the minimum tip 50k, basically same as withdrawing, but people can bank it instead withdrawing, which means they still have the chance to loose. Some might reconsider tip someone twice. NB! Most people who banked did it with 50k-100k and a couple with ~20k+. NB2! I would recommend a mod who visits more often pvp channel. Either way, little gamblers, loose their faucet really quick. The more I read this, the less sense it makes. Let's walk through the math: Suppose I want to abuse the faucet, I would run the 500 satoshi faucet every minute at 100x payout. On average, it would take me 1 to 2 hours to find the 50k payout. Now that I have the 50k, I can either cash out or send it to a PD bank account. Making 50k satoshis trying to resolve hundreds of captchas is a waste of time and a good deterrent against faucet abuse. Stunna: Aside from raising the min bankroll to tip, there are other ways of curbing faucet abuse without punishing honest philantrophists, such as raising the cool down time. Whatever the solution may be, the priority should be to keep minimum tipping at 10k to encourage as many charitable act as there were before. I wrote a big letter about this, but I eventually deleted. I will wait for level 40 and 10 000 faucet money. New problems and new rules.

Yup I agree it's getting very outrageous I thought PD3 would be better than PD2, but it is sadly even worse I might start using old.primedice.com again soon

I was under the impression that the Bot was not supposed to stop randomly like it used to in PD2. My bot keeps stopping...

Waiting for dev to come take a look, also with regards to the tip raising I think it isn't a bad change. It prevents faucet abuse and also makes tips much more significant. The goal of the faucet is to provide funds to players to test out the site or rewards a few times a day, not to be methodically farmed 24/7 which seems to widely be the case. My eventual goal is to replace the faucet with a minigame which will provide much larger rewards 2-3x a day rather than each minute. EDIT: Site is back already, it is being a bit unstable though.

It isn't easy to patch them as a lot of the methods are features core to the site. We'll probably just roll back people to level zero who we continue to abuse.

For me everything's been fine, other than two things. The first is autobet speed, it kills me how slow it normally is. Second, for affiliates, I have 14 legitimate referrals, but it only shows 6? What's up with that?

I think the counter just isn't accurate, I'll discuss this with our developers later.

Does that mean while the other 8 refs are not listed, they are wagering and I get nothing? Sorry to flood you with spam, that'll be my last question.

Me and my friend are having a discussion, my friend says that long ago you could deposit INSTANT to primedice without any confirmations. I believe you've always needed one confirmation - who of us is right?

I think before June or May, Primedice 2 offered instant deposits. It's been instant for all of PD2 until then. They added in a confirmation because of double spend attacks.

Implementing a minimum tipping/withdrawal amount directly or exponentially proportional to your faucet would solve this issue. Example 1: 500 sat, min withdrawal 50,000 Example 2: 5000 sat, min withdrawal 500,000

Once again, people are much, much less likely to tip at 50k than 10k. I tip, a lot, but since yesterday, the minimum amount of tip was balking and I would have to think carefully about who to tip. When the min was 10k, I didn't even think twice about raining it around. Now with 50k, I'm more likely to select a few people who are knowns. This action encourages a clique of people who will only tip to a select few, while the rest of the unknowns get nothing. By raising the minimum amount to tip, you are basically redefining the distribution of charitable money, for the worse. There are many options at your disposal to prevent faucet abuse before raising the minimum tipping. A few ideas: 1. Raise the minimum bankroll to tip (obvious) 2. Raise the cooldown of faucet 3. Make the minimum tipping/withdrawal amount directly or exponentially proportional to faucet size 4. Implement a maximum per day attempts at the faucet per account. Reverting back to 10k min while raising the bankroll requirement is a better alternative than cutting off the tipping community that you have created. Please reconsider this matter.
