The development costs should already be very high, he also cut people out of his signature campaign which I believe is mostly for this reason.

It was probably mostly caused by the mess that has been created there as there have been clearly too many users and it was impossible to keep track of everyone's signature, then check their posts and pay them.
So i think it was more about spam and mess than money.

Agreed, there are still so many enrolled in the campaign, which costs 10-20 btc to stunna per month. So i guess it was a logical decision to cut the number. Primedice is still well known and successful. Hopefully the faucet will be kept alive as well

But pd2 had nice profit probably, and pd3 is in - but that is only temporally , when u run casino with house edge u will profit eventually. Yeah its hard with only 0.91% house edge, but eventually it will get there.

Seems PD2 was better before for faucet players as you could rig it more easily so there was more to give back to faucet users.

Are you saying simply that over 3 btc a day is being claimed from the faucet? Or are you actually paying out (people withdrawing) over 3 btc a day that can be traced back to an initial faucet claim?

Two quite different things. The former doesn't say much as most people claim faucet, gamble it, lose it and repeat - you are not out of pocket at all.

The later says a lot, and I would be surprised you kept it for so long if this was the case. Marketing kudos to you.

He's trying to cut back on costs. I for one believe this is an outrage, I worked extremely hard to get to my 6k faucet and now it's being lowered?
Why can't you just lower it for level 10 and under or simply add a harder catcher.

How can one even abuse the faucet...make a bot claiming once per minute and betting on 100x?

3BTC CLAIMED per day is nothing out of your pocket, considering people blow it in a near instance.

I support your changes to PD3, but for this one I'm not so supportive.

People will be using the bots to claim the faucet every minute and wager it at ridiculous odds. When they win they will probably send it as a tip to another account which then can be withdrawn. Do this several times and the house has lost 3btc. Do this every day constantly and it adds up to a considerable sum. I understand your frustration, but maybe a compromise can be achieved.

I gambled a lot of my money there because I thought hey, even if I lose it I will get a higher faucet.  I lost all my bit coins there in order to get the higher faucet and now it is being lowered:/?

I agree. I'd say make a level requirement so the faucet doesn't get lowered for the players above that level.
