WHAT DO YOU THINK OF PRESIDENT DUTERTE and his WAR on the DRUGS in the PHILIPPINES?

for me this war on drugs is the best move that any president did..
this also shows his brave attitude.. NO ONE CAN DO IT but him because of the most politicians are
corrupt and drug money dependant

I think it had some good and bad effect, it really lessen drug activities in Philippines but somehow it's quite a bad image for our country. A lot of people died because of it, and we don't even know if they are really related to drugs or it's just part of summary execution. There was an incident where a teenager was killed because he was a drug suspect, I think there should be due process to it.

President duterte is one of my favorite president that is being elected on the entire history of the philippines, he really loves philippines and is protecting it of the best that he can, he do really cares for his country and the people of it. Strong leaders are liked by everyone in their own nations. But outside these nations, these leaders create a lot of enemies. Take Vladimir Putin of Russia as an example. The western leaders are all against him.

This war against drugs in the Philippines led by president Duterte caused an immediate decrease in the number of petty crimes like  robbery, hold up, rape. personally I think that this campaign is highly effective because of the result it produces. But let us not forget the fact that some cops ought to take advantage on this one just to line themselves up for promotion. I mean, let's be real guys.

Most of the crimes committed in the country is drug related, and as time pass by, more and more drug related cases are pilling and it's getting worse. This is a beautiful law made by the Duterte, it has helped many reduce drug users. But innocent people were affected by what the police could earn. There are police who exploit these kinds of laws. Just getting redeemed, will kill innocent people

He didn't made any new laws. But he made use of the existing laws, in order to reduce the drug trade and crime rate. But corruption in the police resulted in a lot of innocent people getting framed on fake charges. That should have been avoided.

Criminals in the Philippines are now thinking twice on doing crimes, they know that doing so would definitely give them a very high chance of dying. For me, Duterte isn't my president. I hate the way he fight on drugs. Especially the extra-judicial killing, there's a law, a law must follow. He is too much! He's not God to take others life. There's a justice system, don't put the justice with blood on his hands

I think that program of President Duterte is good in our country but the problem is the implementation. Those EJK issues about drugs, no one knows the real story about it.

i support the war on drug but his enemy and oppose are not supporting ..
church, some media bias and other opposition in politics ..
now the president issue a mandate that there must be a media in every drug raid and a priest but why the church dont want to be there ?
why are they keep on arguing with the president ?? the people chose the president duterte while the church were chose by the parent oof our parent and the parent of their parents .. i am a catholic and im not proud of it ..
the church always tell the government that leave them alone theres a seperation of government and churches.. WTF.. but they want to ruin thhe governments plan as always .. where is the priest that were arrested with a 13 year old girl ??

I do believe on war on drugs of Mr. President Duterte , and i have a proof on it ..
those pushers and addicts here in my neighborhood are gone ! they are not dead nor arrested they just change lives and the wat they live it ..
many of them are now fat or should we say gain weight for having everyday zumba yes they are now dancing at the court 3 times a day some users have a job now and you can see their faces so clear and you can tell that they are not using drugs now .. i can see them drunk too.. lol before i dont see them like that because they used drugs ...

I don't think it was the corruption in the police that resulted in some innocent people getting killed, It was purely anger, the police had suffered untold casualties when it came to fighting drugs in previous governments, the rage had been boiling within them and when Duterte gave the order they were unleashed  and that brought all those unnecessary deaths.

Same goes for me. This is the best move the Philippines needed. The nation cannot be control by sweet words anymore. We really need an Iron fist, we really need to sacrifice the life of the criminals in order to save those innocents. The logic and strategic mind together with his strength and courage President Duterte is the President we are waiting for.

He has got a lot of criticism for his heavy handed tactics, but my personal opinion is that he is doing the right thing. The "soft" approach to the drugs may work in the European Union and the other developed nations such as Canada and Australia. But in a country like Philippines, where the people are not ready to obey law, there is no point in wasting the time and effort in such type of activities.

The platform has a really good intention and I do support his war on drugs campaign. But the only thing I'm concerned is that some of Police are abusing there power. Philippines is one of the most corrupt country in the world and a lot of syndicates are tied up with some of the Gov't officials. When P. Duterte was elected they'd panicked and now these syndicates are cutting off their loose ends for their own sake.

But I hope that P. Duterte would do something about the planting of evidence. It's really true that Planting of evidence is happening. All operations legally approved but the way they execute the mission is quite inhuman. I still believe in the justice system and although I would love that all addicts and pushers are be killed to avoid further hurt.
