Digitalcoin is a worldwide cryptocurrency.

Founded in 2013, Digitalcoin is a proven method of transferring value with transaction confirmations in less than a minute.

With Scrypt, Sha256, and x11 algorithms available for mining, DGC can maximize hash power from the most powerful hardware available.

Network Parameters
• No pre-mine or ICO. Started with ascending rewards to make early mining fair.
• Algorithm - Blocks are hashed using Scrypt, x11, or SHA256 algorithms.
• Confirmations - Confirmations average 40 seconds.
• Difficulty - Re-targets every block.
• Mining Reward - 5 per block found. Rewards halve every three years.
• Maximum coins - The total supply of Digitalcoin will be approximately 48,166,000.
• 10,000 DGC Masternodes - We have the simplest Masternode setup process in existence with a one click Masternode setup.

Network Enhancements
• Algorithm Control - If the last three blocks were discovered by the same algorithm, the fourth block will be rejected until it's found by one of the other two algorithms. This prevents directed attacks on the network from any single algorithm.

I like the sound of it..

Will this be the first altcoin to start with a difficulty of 1? Lots of people complaining about that in recent launches so it will be very interesting to see what happens..

Edit: Ah, ok.. I see you changed the start difficulty..

Yeap, almost instant transactions, quick difficulty adjustment, steady rewards, no pre-mining fair launch, simple and transparent.

I would say better than all. It is almost as fast as Worldcoin, yet should have a much lower orphan rate.

Specifications:

Algorithm: Scrypt
Block Time: 20 seconds  - Enough time to minimize orphans but still provide almost instant transactions.
Confirmations: 5 - The number needed to try and minimize double spending.

On what grounds?

Are you referring to at launch? Because Worldcoin didn't have nearly as many orphans ~3 hours in, and there's no real issues now that I've seen.

Any ideas on a time on Thrusday? Or are you still deciding upon that. No rush  Tongue

The confirmations are based on my testing.

The confirmations are based on my testing. I tried many combinations and settled on 5.
I'm guessing more detail will be in the white paper?
