With the help of some kind developers I am able to move up the launch date and announce a semi-definite launch time.

Monday 7 AM GMT -4

AHH 3AM Eastern Time Sad
lol

It can be confusing, hope this helps.

GMT -4 "is" Eastern Time.

Monday 7 AM GMT -4 is 7 AM EST.

7 AM GMT -4 is 11 AM GMT.

I feel like a nub now, thanks for the enlightenment. 7AM ET is much more manageable  Cool

Smokey, this is not 'nam, this is bowling. There are rules. Do as the dude would wish, and mine some Lebowskis! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260311.0

If you are willing to be a node, all you have to do is forward port 7999 now or any time before the client launches and keep it running once it is launched. Post your IP address here once you forward the port. Forwarding sends all data from a port directly to a local IP you specify, allowing incoming connections to you. Please post your IP so I can add you to the tutorial I am making. Thanks!

A bit dangerous?

If someone were to put mal-ware into the client and then had the people downloading willingly publish their IP and that they were using said mal-ware.....

Hey,

The code will be open source. There will be no such malware.

The only reason I ask these questions... there are a million coins spouting up... why should we pick yours over the other ones.
What plan do you have in place to grow it to something useful and in demand?

Lookup GMT, subtract 4 hours, and you'll know what time it is for me. I'll launch at 7 am my time. So you'll know how many hours it is away from your time.

What are the cgminer settings you usually need for an uber fast, uber overmined coin like this?  something like scantime of 1-5 seconds and regetting work constantly?
