Status of the network:

So far the orphan rates are much lower than even I expected. The transactions seem to be almost instantaneous, as well as block confirmations. There's a good number of trades and sending already which is good. Two pools reported 99%+ efficiency already.

"difficulty" : 1.28884125

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

http://dgc.turbocoin.us/ works very well too.

I think the pool is paying out incorrectly, the round estimate said I would be paid 0.59 DGC but I received 0.059 DGC...

EDIT: The admins are cool and are checking into it.

You're right, transaction speed is really great, and there are nearly no orphans... I think Net Hashrate will rise very much with the next difficulty adjustment of Worldcoin, when its no more profitable to mine there.

I hope the hash rate rises gradually and allows the network to grow with it.

Agree gradual rise is a good thing.  A sudden massive increase in hash rate followed by a collapse is bad for a coin.  See what happened to FTC and CNC (!)

The staged launch already cut down almost all of if not all of the over-mining that usually happens at low difficulty.

Pool owners: Make sure your pools are synced to the IP I posted in the first page if you have any issues.

Okay after close to 3 hours, things are starting to trickle in.  I was on there for 2 hours so Lets see what the final coins earned from them is.  So far in 45 mins, I've earned 8 blocks so 160 coins.

Your Current Hashrate
201 KH/s

Paid Shares
Your Valid: 5464
Invalid: 138

Unpaid Shares
Your Valid: 31371
Pool Valid: 652611

Current Round Shares
Pool Valid: 499857

Estimated Per Payout
0.94217167 DGC

Account Balance
0.93774922 DGC

Correct me if I'm wrong here.  Pool hash at http://dgc.scryptmining.com/ is at 190MH and network is at 215MH doesn't look right.  Can this be possible?

Are you in Germany? If not use a closer pool, latency is important.

that's strange.... we found 10 Blocks in the last hour... which means 200 coins... of which you should get approximately 8 or 9% according to your hash rate....

That means, there should be nearly 20 Coins in your wallet.... Are you shure your Wallet is synced? Do you have a high rate of rejected shares? Maybe you're cgminer isn't configured correctly...

Maybe... Server is located in Cologne... So if you're from down under, maybe the latency is to high :-D

We need to spread the load. If you are using scryptmining.com, please switch to one of the other pools. You can find 3 good ones in the first post.

I'm using http://next.afraid.org:8119 with great success... Finding a reliable pool is not so easy sometime...
