P2P should give you your owed coins once a block is found and you are on the list, it's different to PPLNS.

so how come I am minning for about 45 mins in http://crypto-coins.de:8907/ with one 7950  + 45 mins in http://next.afraid.org:8119/static/, and still no reward from either?

They pay immediatly no confirmations required? i started 45 mins ago

yes you are right. Payminet should be immedialtely. I have pointed miners on my pool by myself to see if everything works fine: In the last 45 Minutes there were 12 payouts   Huh

Is your Addres showing up in the pool stats?

I cant see my adress in either pool!  Sad

thats strange... But if it occurs on both of the pools, i think its more likely, that its a configuration problem with your Client, than with both of the pools. Stupid quation: You checked, that the Wallet Adress you unsed as Username is correct, because P2Pool does not check if the Adress exists...

I found your Adress in my statistics... But it says you were just mining for a few seconds  Huh

I'm sorry, but i think, i can't figure out, why you are having those Problems....

But i just sent you a few DGC as compensation Wink

can you see me minning now? i am with cgminer 3.1.0 Thanks for the DGC!

My windows client reloads all the blocks...

If we don't want to have issues, A software update is welcome, with some checkpoints...

oh? Well I guess there is just a delay on the owners end then. I don't mind in the end as long as I get them.

No, i'm Sorry, you're not appearing as an active miner in the stats  :-( I recommend you to use another pool, if mine is not working for you for some reason....

By the way... there are also miners in my stats, who aren't even logged in with an DigitalCoin Adress, but with an address from a different network  Tongue

To add that there is a kind of warm up and cool down, typically your payments should increase a little each time till they plateau, then after you stop mining they should keep coming in but in decreasing amounts until you receive nothing.  It's still PPLNS but not like the "normal" setup on the PPLNS pools.

See page one and go for your favourite or...

5. http://next.afraid.org:8119/ <- P2pool
6. Fenican P2pool

Are both paying me every 30-180 seconds (on average) so I can recommend them personally, others have other opinions though I'm sure.

If you are used to mine with bitminter, the easisest thing would be to download guiminer. You can get it here:

https://mega.co.nz/#!UlskWQYC!TVod3g5m9gsHe9kU6eoQhRItYmZw-fQ_VYM8GsPTcBY

Then start GUI Miner an fill out the form:

For example: To use my pool, fill in crypto-coins.de in "Host" and 8907 in "Port"

Payouts at my Pool, are instant everytime a block is found. No waiting for confirmations.

The Username is simply a Adress from your Digitalcoin Wallet.

You can choose any Psswort you want, You even don't have to remember ypur passwort. But it should be complicated because of security reasons.

The other Boxex are filled out automatically, if you choose youre Graphic Card from the "GPU defaults" Menu.

Now hit start and beginn mining...

Thats not easy to answer, because there are no official exchanges yet, trading DigitalCoin. SO at the moment you have to look into the google Spreadsheets

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aue1_DBCxEZpdG5TRUk1bkRpeEZyRDJZUGU5cF95U0E#gid=21

and contact the users, who want to buy DGC for LTC an BTC.

But remember, that the start of this coin is just a few hours ago, and in my oppinion it was a very good start. And as the experience from the other altcoins has shown, Digitalcoin should be the most profitable coin at the moment..

Mining with http://digi.cryptcoins.net is it standard to have 1/3 rejects?

Are you mining with the stratum port?  You shouldnt get such rejects.. but if you do.. switch to stratum.

http://dgc.scryptmining.com is back up.  Sorry everyone, pretty much the worst timing ever.

Everything should still be in place and accounted for, on the upside (for you, definitely not me) I'm pretty sure the pool just sent out a lot more than it should have due to the backlog.

Let me know if you still have any problems, and sorry for the downtime.

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

DGC seems a good launch to me.

I have setup a p2pool node where you can mine:
  • Dedicated server
  • Located in France
  • 100 mbits connection
  • PPLNS 0% fee
  • Custom css/jquery interface

Interface : http://pool.bounceme.net:24397
Cgminer : cgminer --scrypt -o http://pool.bounceme.net:24397 -u [your_address] -p x -Q 0

I am currently mining on it at 6MH/s, come and join me !

[UPDATE 22/05/2013] Now 0% fee and added another node located in Netherland on my p2pool network, maybe some of you will have a better latency with it :
Interface : http://poolnl.bounceme.net:24397
Cgminer : cgminer --scrypt -o http://poolnl.bounceme.net:24397 -u [your_address] -p x -Q 0

Looks like my p2pool stayed up all night and reached a peak load of about 100 mh/s.  Thanks to all the miners who joined up.

Am I the only one getting a conflicting blockchain from the network ?

Is that the reason my client started downloading a chain that was 345k blocks in size? It's back to 11824 now.

Could this be the verification period versus end to end delay issue that was mentioned earlier?
