Am I the only one getting a conflicting blockchain from the network ?

Is that the reason my client started downloading a chain that was 345k blocks in size? It's back to 11824 now.

Could this be the verification period versus end to end delay issue that was mentioned earlier?

This seems to happen once in awhile with most of the coins.  Not sure what the cause is potentially the client gets confused.  Usually closing and reopening it solves the problem.

Stratum P2Pool is on:

crypto-coins.de:8907

As usual for P2Pool, just Point your miners on the above adress using your Wallett Adress as Username and a random passwort

Example:

Code:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -u DHUqdchzCGUYKABsv3nLkVwJiL93YoNpP2 -p hsdrtu89dfgdhfg8 -o crypto-coins.de:8907

See stats at www.crypto-coins.de:8907

Pool Fee ist 1 %

Just wanted to tell you, that i have Removed the Pool Fee from my pool.

So from now on you're mining without any fee!!

http://www.crypto-coins.de:8907/fee

For your information.. Its a dedicated server running 24/7 Connected with 1GBit directly to the DE-CIX Exchange Point in Frankfurt Germany... So latency should be very good

http://dgc.scryptmining.com is back up.  Sorry everyone, pretty much the worst timing ever.

Everything should still be in place and accounted for, on the upside (for you, definitely not me) I'm pretty sure the pool just sent out a lot more than it should have due to the backlog.

Let me know if you still have any problems, and sorry for the downtime.

I moved back to your pool, will let you know thanks

Just FYI: my DGC client seems to have lost its db, even though it has been running (with a current block chain, no problems) for more than 2 hours. Was working fine one minute, then it was suddenly out of sync and back to 0 blocks downloaded. I seem to recall mention of this issue earlier in the thread.

I have 15 active connections but it's stuck on "~345272 blocks remaining"

Section troubleshooting on the main page addresses any connection.

Yaaay! Thanks!

BTW, it's been a pretty solid pool, I can recommend it.

Are you in Germany? If not use a closer pool, latency is important.

I'm using http://next.afraid.org:8119 with great success... Finding a reliable pool is not so easy sometime...

This p2pool: http://next.afraid.org:8119  works well all the time. More and more coins are there...

Nice, don't forget with pplns the initial payouts are a bit skewed, it takes time to ramp up to better reflect your hashrate.

If any of the pool owners can add block explorers to their servers, it would be nice. The block explorer is important because it allows everyone to monitor the network.

We need a few options in case anything happens.

I don't have a native block chain explorer in my p2pool but I have linked mine to the working explorer at the other pool.  Thanks for implementing that!

Hence, clicking on blocks in my pool UI should now function as expected

I will enable the block explorer on http://next.afraid.org:8119/ (p2pool PPLNS/stratum enabled server, high bandwidth available) on the next server restart. However the server works well, and the current load will not be disrupted.

I believe they are using pushpool -- obviously with heavy customization.  Here's a fork that works with litecoin would obviously need some changes to work for DGC:

They are using mmcFE, basically a pushpool frontend, https://github.com/Greedi/mmcFE
