I'm actually happy the price dropped a bit since it dropped difficulty down to a point where we're not getting overwhelmed by big mining farms
Good chance to make some coin at any of the pools ! Mine is cranking through blocks like a knife through warm butter right now
Agreed, can fall off the radar a bit and those who keep mining will rake in that much more.

Coinchoose is misleading, it's really there for the flash crowd of miners that pool hop several times a day. It only works on spot price not a more useful average price. It doesn't take volume of trade into account, so you might have what looks like a profitable coin to mine that you can't sell as nobody want's to buy it.

With the amount of BTC equal to the change you could find in your couch, you can make it go up and miners go off that small amount. It's funny.

Can you guys explain me why are you selling your DGCs? I really do not understand it. I am not a market guru and my economic skills are - lets call it - basic, but if there is a demand and, on the contrary, there is no or low offer, should not the price go higher? Or I am wrong? What i am trying to say is, that there is no way that i am going to sell my DGC, because it will has 10 times higher value in a year then it has today. In DGC i trust

Because at the end of the day DGC is no different than the other alts. I dumped everything I mined on release when it hit on the exchange (good move), and I will dump everything I am mining now. Don't kid yourself, it will tank just like the others and I won't be left holding the bag, will you?

And i also disagree that sell everything what you mine is a good move - it is just headless mining, without any deeper interest in the coin. But i agree that coin must spread out to the world, and exchanges are one way to do it.

Well unless you have some emotional attachment to the coin dumping at almost twice the current going rate is a good move. And for those of you artificially pumping up the price;the miners thank you.

for anyone on my pool @ http://digitalcoin.scryptmining.com the server ran into an issue over night that caused a bit of a backlog in the db. You were able to continue to mine and the site continued to count your shares being submitted. You'll notice share counts for block rewards seem odd, but it would have had little effect on payouts for any steady miners because its all proportional to what you submit per block. We've finally manually worked through the backlog, processing all the built-up shares, and things are humming along normally once again. No one should have been short changed at any point during the process due to how the payouts work, but if you feel you have been please let me know and I'll look into it! Thanks to all the miners.
