Guys i need your help with the new wallet version. When it tries to synq im getting the following error message.

System error: CDB: error -30974 cant open database wallet.dat.

Any ideas ? wallet.dat its my old wallet with all the transactions and balance ofc.

So far the orphan rates are much lower than even I expected. The transactions seem to be almost instantaneous, as well as block confirmations. There's a good number of trades and sending already which is good. Two pools reported 99%+ efficiency already.

The efficiency is really good and the network is super smooth because one of the algorithms is always going to find a block. I am mining it myself and plan to get more miners.

DGC has had really good transaction volume lately (millions) and it's helping to contribute to the miners.

Try launching the wallet with -salvagewallet in the command line.

I am thrilled that DGC is coming back where it once was.  
I can confirm that I was able to restore my paperwallet with the current wallet version easily under macOS High Sierra. I used this release: https://github.com/lomtax/digitalcoin/releases/tag/4.0.1

Also the trading seems to work again and today we have nearly the same price as the TRONix [TRX] coin. :-) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digitalcoin/

Right now we are targeting the three major ASIC algorithms so GPU and CPU mining are not worthwhile.

In about a month we went from ~100 satoshi per coin to ~800 (the high was ~1,100).

Dgc used to reach 1k1 sat few days ago, and i think that’s only a small step. In my opinion, potential of this coin is so much more than that. And once the Diamond shines, u won’t be able to own it easily i’m not a programer, only a newbie in bitcointalk forum, but i like the way DGC’s dev team is working on this project. I believe in them

Try adding this node https://bitnodes.net/node/212-24-97-214/ and restarting with -rescan and -reindex commands in the command line.

You can hover over the connection icon in the bottom right to see status.

Try opening digitalcoin.conf and adding the nodes from https://bitnodes.net/node/212-24-97-214/

If that doesn't work, make sure you have digitalcoin allowed through your firewall.

When attempting to compile the latest github from https://github.com/lomtax/digitalcoin it fails with the following error

/usr/include/boost/filesystem/operations.hpp:381: undefined reference to `boost::filesystem::detail::copy_file(boost::filesystem::path const&, boost::filesystem::path const&, boost::filesystem::copy_option, boost::system::error_code*)'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

any ideas? this is under Ubuntu 14 LTS

PS: it compiles fine under Ubuntu 16 LTS
