We should definitely get DGC on BTC-e, it's no doubt the best exchange for high quality coins.  Cryptsy sucks!!

DGC is heavily undervalued atm, which needs much more attention to move forward.

Is it possible to hit $1.5 after the launch of CryptoAve?

We hit $0.80+ without it, so yes, I do believe that is easily achievable.

Updates:
------------------
- DGC will be only the third coin added to http://blockr.io
- We tested the engine in the first phase closed beta successfully. CryptoAve second phase testing is now in motion. The second phase focuses on the supporting services of the exchange.
- A new DGC website with a focus on ease of use and attracting new users is complete and in the process of being implemented.
- DGC V1.1 update was a success and we are no longer experiencing fluctuations due to the difficulty highs and lows.

This is one professional looking site.

It will be good to get DGC and SRC on there.

@Baritus: Is trade engine capable of handling 10k+ users and trades in any moment without lags such as on Cryptsy?

Great coin to trade right now. It's one of the top 3 alt coins that's holding value and rising.
And the last week has been pretty decent. Feels like another breakout is coming in the days ahead.

Last 24 hours is upward trending. Last month is upward also.

It just keeps going. Picking up some volume also over last 24 hours by 3-4 fold over yesterday.
Volume has passed NETcoin and Infinitecoin.

And looking at sell wall resistance - there is none at these levels. So nothing stopping upward push up to 50000+.

Coinmarketcap.com =
20    Digitalcoin    $ 4,102,516    $ 0.34    12,037,717 DGC    $ 58,042    +26.58 %

It's nice to know your DGC is going up while your BTC it translates to is going up.

Hey guys,

I updated to the latest client and I'm getting this error:
Anyone have any idea what to do?

Myriadcoin - the first multi-PoW blockchain! (Mine with SHA256 [ASICs], Scrypt [GPU/ASICs], Skein [GPUs], Groestl [GPUs], OR Qubit [CPUs/GPUs]).

Me too.  The hard drive has 30gb free, so the error message makes no sense, there is plenty of free space.
I deleted the block chain to try to resync, but it won't download.  The debug.log is full of orphaned blocks.

Any help?

Perhaps the same bug that cryptsy encountered recently with their dgc wallet? My withdrawal is finally no longer pending.

Own wallet is running smoothly here after every single update/transition.

Edit: Thumbs up about the website makeover announced by Baritus. Looking forward to it!

Delete everything but the wallet.dat file from the user/appdata/roaming/dgc folder and launch the DCG wallet.

If you're getting DB errors, you probably downloaded some of the discontinued chain.

Fix
1. close DGC client
2. go to your User/AppData/Roaming(Windows) or Library/Application Support(Mac) directory
3. open digitalcoin folder
4. delete everything except wallet.dat
5. restart DGC

I would like to announce my new DGC p2pool node. I've been watching DGC over the past month or so during the alt-coin explosion. I think DGC has shown stability in the face of this and I would like to be a part of this community. So I'd like to start by offering a stable and long term p2pool node for DGC. Please stop by and let me know if you experience any issues.

The details are below.

Just point your miners to stratum+tcp://dgc.squiggie.com:19330, use your payout address as your username and x as your password. Below is an example cgminer connection string.
Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://dgc.squiggie.com:19330 -u DM8mo1WrKQ6VNwfnxHHXBQmvhBajyMrH5a -p x
Also, I have an active website where I post updates and you can contact me. Please visit http://squiggie.com/pools for more information.

Nice! I haven't used a p2pool for DigitalCoin earlier, so I might give it a try later Wink

Currently I'm hashing at http://dgc.cryptopools.com/, which is still working great.

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}

P2Pools aren't for everyone. They take a little time to get used to. Most people either love or hate them because of the PPLNS ramp up to payout. Most don't really understand how the payouts work. But I love them because they are more secure imo and are less prone to DDOS and server issues. If the pool has issues, your shares are communicated across all p2pool nodes, so even if the pool you're hashing in has issues, you still get paid. Also 0 coins are left in the pool wallet so if the server crashes and can't recover, you still aren't out anything. I really do think they're great, but like I said, they're not for everyone. I have some FAQ on my site for anyone interested.
