I tried syncing my wallet. no luck even with added nodes, using the v1.1 wallet. My 6715 HBN also just surpassed my 23k DGC in the value.  Roll Eyes

Did you also add these nodes at the link below to your digitalcoin.conf file?

http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/topic,115.msg353.html#msg35

Also check that port 7999 is forwarded in your router and/or software firewall(s)

Additional troubleshooting info here too:

http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/topic,583.msg3125.html#msg3125

Otherwise post a message here in the Digitalcoin troubleshooting forum section

http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/board,4.0.html

and you could also ask for assistance in the DGC IRC channel - irc.freenode.net #digitalcoin

Good luck!  Smiley

I had the same issue earlier. Add the addnodes stated in the first post of this topic and you will probably be fine Wink.

According to the pool i'm mining on (http://dgc.cryptopools.com/) the difficulty went from 3.x to 4.x and will even increase more. I think these are the last couple of minutes that the difficulty of this coin are this low Smiley.

any news?

Not as yet. I thought DGC V2 Core update was due for release any day now tho.

EDIT: Apparently the 2.0 core update is on hold pending more evaluation on the algorithm before it gets released. See Baritus post here:

http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/topic,965.msg6967.html#msg6967

CryptoAve enhanced website will undergo new testing in 2.5 weeks according to Baritus. Other changes for it in the pipeline as well. Looking forward to seeing it back up and running soon! Approx by May 1st.

Hello,

The source of attacks on CryptoAve has now been identified. The vulnerabilities created by the heartbleed bug are exactly what was exploited in an attempt to steal user funds.

CryptoAve itself has never been compromised and it is likely that development will speed up now that we no longer have to worry about solving an exploit that never existed in our code.

The exchange will be back soon. We will have a stronger infrastructure and bank level security.

In closing: CryptoAve was never compromised, it was shut down as a precaution and to strengthen defences. We now know the bug that was causing issues is due to the OpenSSL bug and not any of the code or programming language.

Yeah nice find and good work getting the exchange offline so quickly to protect against this exploit. Thanks for all the hard work following this up. Better to be safe than sorry. Looking forward to CAve being back up!

DGC now on vaultofsatoshi.com

Nice.

Nice to see that the value of the DigitalCoin is finally rising again Smiley. Soon  I receive some more 0,x BTC, and I will trade them for DGC again.

Baritus, you should add https://www.cryptoaltex.com/ to the OP and make sure to specify that it has a DGC market as well.

I am really disappointed that there is no video from Andrew Davidsons speech at CryptoCurrency Convention. It would be a great marketing material. I think it could give DGC some kind of weight when newcomers can watch video about digitalcoin from some major conference.

I am asking you, if you got video from his speech, please post it here.

DGC is a leveraged trade on BTC. When BTC rises, we spike. The way markets have set themselves up, BTC rising is the best fundamental for us.

Agree. And the situation of the BTC looks nice today. It was great to see it hit the $500.- again after all these days of decline.

I really look forward how the next weeks will affect BTC (and by that DGC). Smiley
