Token price fall after ICO

In 2017 almost ICO when hit exchange the token price always fall, but you cannot blame for bounty hunter for this, may be airdrop when percentage is more than 20 percent can make this happen, but its not happen when ICO and developer is have a good program and real product.

This seems to be a norm now, but what is disturbing to me is why people sell below the market price, there are a long list of this Hybrid, Ochain, Oneledger, Atonomi, Cardstack etc. majority have no bounty programs which is very disturbing. Though some people said it is as a result of Seed investors talking profit because some of them have already made 25X from their ICO price

Factors of bounty and also the bonus when pre-sale and also a large ico I think that makes the price of tokens when entering the market usually drop even more than 50% price.

there is many coins that the price after listed in the exchange and the price is down
example SONM the ico price around 5k satoshi or more but now at 1.7k satoshi

it's very much at all current guys, most of the Token Price after ICO and release on the market. prices will fall and very long to return to the ICO price. and I think it's very hard to ride. now ICO does not have a good future. I follow more than 10 ICOs and none of them have ICO prices on the market. that is very sad.

Agree with you. I wrote before that bounty hunters can't drop coin price. There are 1 or 2% for bounty hunters, so this is really small amount. On pre-sale some investors can buy more than 5% of all tokens with discount from 5 to 50% and this is really bad, cause they usually try to sell after ICO and won't wait. This is one of the main reasons.

It happens with multiple project first they pump then they dump to good extent below their ico price.it is generally bcz of whales and early seller who just want initial profit then jump to next project ,afterward bounty seller fud make it more worse but if you are patient then many coin regain their ico price in few month.

Not only one project many other projects are also facing the same situation in the market after listing the ICO price going down because most of the people who bought the coins for the low price will sell them after listing in the exchange for making the profit. People who bought the coins after listing will wait until the price starts increasing again.

many factors play role in price speculation after ICO ..

marketing and hype is most imp for any projects .. then project speed to complete roadmap .
also listing on 1-2 major exchange is better than listing on 4-5 small exchanges , as always quality is better than quantity . also team should give news on regular basis .

Of course there are a lot of such useless projects. The drop in prices after the ICO in most cases is caused by investors who bought tokens at a cheap price then the price goes up.

yes, there have been such cases. A lot of cases of fraud with crypto currency! here you have to be careful. I invested in 5 ICOs of them 5 went to the stock exchanges with a lower price than ICO

Most tokens fell after the ICO, some will dump because some earn it free especially the airdrop.
However, this should not be the measurement of the outcome of the project as in early trade there are only less volume especially if traded in decentralized exchange.
