I do not understand the developers of this coin! application for an excellent coin and such a lousy exchange .... worse than the stock exchange does not happen! it is no longer possible to pay unfortunate 3-5 bitcoins and go to a decent stock exchange ... maybe two?!?! very strange all! people have an interest and they just can not buy a coin))) apparently all do not care ... gentlemen who agree with me leave a couple lines in confirming my words below or just put a sign + .. the first time I see such greedy developers)) thanks

Nova has some problems due to DDoS thats beyond the control of the devs. And I think its allowing registrations intermittently, you just gotta keep trying. mate, I dont see how that makes the Devs greedy?

As far as i know other exchanges are planned, cryptopia increased listing fees to 9 btc. Thats quite high and not just VIVO, but a few other coins (that I follow/mine) are also holding back their listing for the same reason.

Most of the other big exchanges take on coins based on community voting/picked based on the adoption of a coin. Why dont you join the coin community on Discord/telegram and see what the community can do for the coin?

Btw, as a short term solution the coin is listed on coinsmarkets.com - although I have to say, the vol is low there.

What exchanges do you have in mind? And have you done some checks to see how to get them listed? If yes, please share so the community and devs can take that on board.

well you are venting, coz you cant buy. well, to an extend thats understandable.
May be the best course of action, at the moment, is to find another option to buy? and I dont really see any other recommendation from your end other than asking to pay 9 btc to list on cryptopia.

the majority consensus in the community, from what I have seen, is that 9 btc is way too high. Why dont you come over and have a conversation with everyone to see what the community thinks - may be you can change the community mindset? There is no point being angry about this.

Everything has a perceived value, at the moment 9 btc for a cryptopia listing doesnt meet that value. Just as you wouldnt probably buy 1 vivo for 10 btc.

well... you are entitled to your opinions. Of course thats is your choice.
All I can suggest is you can probably try and buy it in the meantime through another option or wait for a window to open on Novaexchange. If You do not want to buy it on Nova, isnt something anyone else can control.  Thats your prerogative.

just so you know, am not a dev.. but have been following the project and have bought /mined VIVO. Have seen folks buying in the trading channel and others helping them to buy through Nova. And based on how some early issues were tackled, I dont think the Devs are engaged solely in "chatroom-discussions".

I can see this convo will go nowhere until it is listed in an exchange of your liking - so, good luck!

On one count, I agree, coinsmarkets isnt worth it. That was/is a stop-gap arrangement.
Nova, is just fine. my trades have been smooth (so cant complain).

Mate you have two choices.
1. Either try to buy at Nova or trade through an escrow with someone willing to sell.
2. Wait for another exchange listing.

No one is forcing you to buy. You dont like the options available, pick something that suits you better.

p.s: If its complete nonsense, I dont know why you are blowing your lid off.

whats your Problem with nova?

vivo has seen some big raise. im not sure if its profitable to mine it anymore and maybe again xD
last time i checked i made like 0.2 vivo a day. but maybe that was because of pool Problems...
i learned alot by following vivo. mining matters... and coins will get value.

No, dont believe so - cant change the port. However its much more secure (and easy to set up) using a hosted server - grab one from here https://billing.time4vps.eu/?affid=1984 and follow the instructions here http://www.explorerz.top/vivo-mn.html . The server will pay for itself in about 10 minutes at the current profitability of these MN

Anybody has instructions how to setup and run a local VIVO wallet (non-MN) at Linux? I have Ubuntu binaries vivo-cli, vivod (btw, the MN guide points to older binaries 0.12.1.5 and I built binaries from git sources 0.12.1.6) but with running "daemon" vivo-cli always shows 0 connections. I see no attempts to synchronize.
Any help would be much appreciated!
