I transfered all my vivo to coniomi. The transfer seems to have gone through according to the vivo core wallet, but nothing shows up in coinomi. It's been more than 24 hours now and I even chose the instant send.
https://i.imgur.com/Dikqwrk.jpg.
I have checked the address is correct. Could it have something to do with the chain split that was talked about? Should I follow the steps in the previous post on how to fix a stucked wallet?
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Hi guyz I am new to this project and I may be interested in setting up a vivo  masternode soon while it is still cheap. But I am kinda confused with the various chain split news I am seeing here.

My question now is that as a complete newbie to this project, how do I setup a working vivo MN on my own PC?? and also on a VPN server ?? Are there any updated videos on this that can guide me fully??

Thanks

How to fix a stuck wallet (this time)

Do this on the affected wallet only!

Close your wallet / Stop your deamon
Win Wallets: Go to your %appdata%/VivoCore folder and delete the folders chainstate and blocks
Unix: Go to ~/.vivocore/ and delete the folders chainstate and blocks
Open your vivo.conf and comment EVERYTHING thats in there by putting a # at the beginning of each line

Add:
connect=80.208.225.127
connect=52.178.24.171:12845
connect=13.80.64.100:12845
connect=13.81.203.224:12845
connect=80.208.229.170:12845
connect=188.120.248.128:12845

save and exit.

Upstart your wallet/daemon. The sync will take longer as normal.
IMPORTANT: Once your wallet is moving with the chain remove the connect= lines and uncomment everything else. Dont forget to stop your wallet first.

If it works, donations welcome to: VZuH2xGyWNYPz5fvvEMWoEjpvGzSrz9WoG
this does not work, after full sync there is the same, wallet does not see tx from last several hours although they are in the chain and are visible in the block explorer  Undecided
currently wallet with 8 connections reports block heigh 73574 and is synchronized  and according block explorer current is 73727
moving my mining to other neoscrypt coin until there will be any explanation from devs how is it possible that there is possible split in "asic resistant, secure" coin with masternodes.

I'm having the same problem. Sent two transactions from Cryptopia to my Vivo wallet. Nothing. Been over an hour. Triple checked the addresses. Coin seems to be totally messed up.

I was considering a masternode, but now I'm super concerned if coins are disappearing when being sent. Deeply regretting not sending a tiny amount first.

it seems lie if you remove the connect= nodes the wallet does a rollback. If you are on the same height like the explorer please post the IP, i will add  them to the "guide"

I just opened my new wallet and it failed to receive coins. I tried going into the config file like you suggested, and the file appears to be empty. Is there some special program required for opening the file?

Just add the connect addresses to the config file, open in a text editor and save and restart the wallet, this is how i got mine to sync correctly

I've send coins between my two wallets (MN deposit), and transaction was showing confirmed (10 confirmations) after ca. 2 hours. Now, i came back home (an hour later), and the status shows unconfirmed and there's nothing in both of my wallets. How to fix it? neither my receiving wallet, nor tx id show in the block explorer. What is going on? Is this a secure coin?

Use "vivo-cli getinfo" command and watch for errors in the bottom line. Should have no errors. On of my MNs showed "seems like cannot agree with peers" - something like this.
Use the above solutions, but also delete peers.dat file and other files, keep wallet.dat, vivo.conf files

Any pools working ?

Some cant connect. others have "We are short of this currency (257.05219000 VIVO). Please STOP your miners and switch to BTC until we find more VIVO blocks.
YOU are responsible if you continue to mine for VIVO dispite this warning."

It seems like pools were not ready for the chain split.

I see what happened - on Github release ver. 0.12.2.1 of the wallet for Win32, 64 and Arm/Linux has been removed. I suspect there was a bug.
Now, it'd be nice if the dev team provides a comment and explains what really happened. People, including myself, lost a lot of $ today.

Where did you find 0.12.2.1? I only can see 0.12.1.7 at https://github.com/vivocoin/vivo/releases
