Are there any exchanges that are going to list SWEEP? To sell / buy coins at this time is there only the group discord?

That discord group also is NOT our official one.

Though again they seem to be doing reasonably well with their functionality and running of the group.

We do NOT endorse them nor back them, as the official groups so far are CWI-Slack and soon CWI-Skype.

You will need to understand that all these groups you are using and function with (especially trade) are at your own risk.

This is not to say that they are doing a bad job, it is just that we are not involved with ANY of these groups currently.

#crysx

Thank you for the information, lot of people have joined the group, so far they have drooped some coins to new members and that is good to actually expand pool of people that hold SWEEP in their wallets.

Maybe we can expect to come back on NOVAExchange?, they have stated few days ago that they will continue to work.

Possibly.

NovaExchange has not specifically stated they will bring SWEEP back onto their Exchange though, so please don't rely much on the hope they will unless they categorically state they will.

As for the groups, this is a good thing, but we needed/need to state that we are NOT affiliated with ANY of these groups and they are NOT backed by us. If they were, we would not only endorse them, but also supply coin from the premine as an endorsement (which btw - still owe Steven Saxton and myself SWEEP coins from the original SWEEP takeover arrangement). Though I cannot speak on Steven Saxtons (Core Coin Developer/Engineer) behalf, I would be happy to donate my 2.5MSWEEP share to a good cause.

#crysx

In my opinion, Sweep has been listed in cheap exchanges. Cheap exchanges provide always bad performances.
I personally dislike when an exchange is making the first lady of the exchanges (asking fees absurdly high, even if are met with a good quality of service), but a dead or nearly dead coin, in terms of trading, is a bad asset to them. Stocks.exchange for example requires a costant daily volume to keep the coin listed (and I think at a certain point someone will just use bots to do the trick).

Well ...

I totally disagree with the whole 'funding' process of paying to get listed AND with the constant trade volume to STAY on an exchange you have paid for. Damned ridiculous in my opinion as there are MANY variables that cater to a coins trade.

We are looking at changing all this, regardless of how 'shit' the coin seems to be, based purely on the FACT that if there are NO chances given for an opportunity, then it would cause much upset for the coin to even get off the ground, let alone grow.

Regulation seems to be stumping Exchanges a lot, but that is only a hurdle, not a stop sign!

#crysx

I don't like much that either, but that's how their property works.
And that's why I would rather see something like flyp.me working here (although, exchange rate must be flexible...).

That seems like a nice exchanger.

Though for traders it wouldn't be favourable for their style of gambling I guess.

We will see how this all pans out, as we are having the same issues with INFX and Bittrex, where they are not even bothering to answer or respond to any of my queries, even though they are around and available to do so.

So who knows how we will go with this, but there is a necessity for a good exchange that is FOR the communities rather than their own pockets. Let's wee what can be done to fill that niche.

We need to state simply.

I like what you are doing - but we cannot say that this is being endorsed nor backed by CWI or any one of theTEAM.

However, I can see this is a good way of promotion, which we had no intention of doing till later this year when the development of the coin was underway.

Thank for your feedback!

I can also see that the funds you are using are NOT from us directly. So where are they coming from? Your own pocket?

#crysx

Yes, I use my own SWEEPs that collected by POS. I'm involved in SWEEP from the very beggining and I like SWEEP for VERY fast transactions and great POS reward. Maybe soon I will realize some new bounty ideas for SWEEP promotion. Everybody likes Bounties  Smiley

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

OK.

Then I would like to make my donation of 2.5MSWEEP to this giveaway cause.

If there is a way I could track all that is done (I don't have full access to discord or anything that uses websockets easily), then I will post the 2.5MSWEEP to a new address from the premine and when I am satisfied that the giveaway is done fairly without compromise, all you would have to do is PM me addresses (or publish them if that is the way it is done) and I will send off the allotted amounts to those addresses every week, until my 2.5MSWEEP is down to zero.

There is only one other person that has yet to be paid his 2.5MSWEEP, and that is Steven. He will decide what he wants to do with his share, as has been done with the other Engineers when the agreement and acquisition was done those many months ago.

Let me know how we could make this happen.

We also would like to bounty the Block explorers that exist currently, which are the Iquidus ones. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the older Block Explorer Developer? How much would be a fair bounty payout for these explorers?

You are one of the recipients mate.

The other is the original one (that seems to have disappeared) whose Block Explorer is stuck and needs restarting.

We need to figure out what a fair budget is for this, and a fair payout. You are providing a good service for the SWEEP infrastructure so it should be a feasible amount to send you.

What is going on with blockchain? I am now getting some error when trying to start my wallet:

Expression: pindex-> pprev || pindex-> GetBlockHash() ==
(!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet

Wallet then needs to be closed...Blockchain broken?

The BlockChain just doesn't 'break'.

What is happening your end? Which wallet are you using? Have you disabled Virus Checking Software (Assuming this is Windows - as Windows usually does this with Virus Scanners)?

I can go on with quite a few more questions, but information as to what is happening is required for any reasonable answer to your question.

This is NOT our telegram group and NOT our rewards program.

BUT - they seem to be doing a nice job of what they are doing so far, and we are watching intently on what these guys are intending.

We are working on a very different level.

Exchanges are NOT the priority right now, except for the purpose of getting trading restarted again.

I am not saying they are not important, what I am saying is that they are not a priority to push into and pay exorbitant fees to get integrated into one.

There are other ways to trade outside of exchanges, and they can be useful as long as you are very careful. We would even setup a small 'escrow level' thread where we would act as the escrow as long as it doesn't draw too much time off our development. If there is anything to be done that would allow a restart of the SWEEP wallet in Nova (or any other Exchange for that matter) we would do it, but not to the level where we are paying tens of thousands of dollars to get listed. That simply won't happen, not from CWI-Funds which is always used to expand and grow CWI itself. We cannot see a listing like that as growth in that way, especially when any of those exchanges can delist as quickly as they list, with or without a good reputation.

I am getting "Error loading blkindex.dat" but how this is possible when wallet has been working last half year with none issues and couple of days ago it started saying that error? And no virus checking software is not blocking it. I am using the wallet that I got from the previous ann.

Hi erbott1 ...

The previous wallet will still work as long as you have all the addnodes in the conf.

However, there must have been something that has changed recently to give you this error, as the the pool and many others are still running fine.

You could try deleting the blockchain and working files (all EXCEPT the SweepstakeCoin.conf and wallet.dat files - DO NOT delete those), but that will mean a full resync which can take a huge amount of time. If you are willing to do that, then ALWAYS backup the SweepstakeCoin.conf and wallet.dat files first before NAY deletion is done.

When it cannot load the blkindex.dat file, this means that it has been corrupted somehow, which also means it needs to be rebuilt. Probably best to start over with a new sync as stated above, and wait for the sync to finish. PLEASE be careful with deleting, as many have deleted their wallet.dat file in the process and have lost ALL their coins.

Let us know how you go.

Thanks for response crysx. It was surprisingly indeed problem with blockchain and working files as you said. Can't figure out how that is possible but however I deleted those with leaving sweepstakecoin.conf and wallet.dat and wallet is now working. I just need to rebuild the whole blockchain and it takes time but the main thing is it is working again. Thanks Smiley

Glad that helped.

Sometimes these things happen on a local level, other times it is on a blockchain level like a fork for example. This time it was an easy fix.

Now all you need is to have the patience to leave the blockchain to sync locally. This WILL take a long time, though don't panic or restart the wallet if it looks like it is stuck on block 37275 as that is where it forked the first time and all the orphans exist. Just let it be and let it run it's course regardless of whether it looks like it is locked up on that block.

Hi, where can I download your wallet? Where do I keep coins?

The master branch is broken on Git - you need to compile from two commits prior.

Should I assume you are looking for the Windows build?
