Hi, where can I download your wallet? Where do I keep coins?

The master branch is broken on Git - you need to compile from two commits prior.

Should I assume you are looking for the Windows build?

#crysx
Yes Windows, I wrote to you in PM.

No worries.

I'll answer here Smiley

Windows wallet requires that you add all the nodes you can in the conf file so that you can sync properly also. Many nodes are listed in previous pages, and as a pin in the CWI-Slack Group in SweepStakeCoin Channel.

The wallet download link is here - https://mega.nz/#!tQcXiThD!H7YG2JnbBftIMne7lPO_F87vo2f4lUYfxWlAcUfV-Kg

Be patient with the sync as it does take a long time and will require that you leave it run, and let it take it's course.

Yes.

False Positives due to the inbuilt miner, and getwork template (for SoloMining into wallet), as well as TOR not helping in that area also.

Don't forget to collect and add the nodes (addnode=) into the SweepstakeCoin.conf so that it can sync properly.

Where have you created the file?

If the wallet is offline, it is because it cannot communicate with other nodes.

Fill in the details of your post please so we can determine what is happening. Like what you have running at the same time (anitvirus especially as they block a LOT of wallets), malware scanners, etc.

Just created the file and threw it into the folder with the wallet.
No antivirus software.
I just do not understand what needs to be done? Nowhere is this written. I have to change the file in the exe or add your own?

Well,

I am not personally too familiar with windows, as I don't use it, but the .conf should be in the 'roaming' folder located in the windows system not where the exe is.

Depending on which windows you use, this is probably located in the 'user' directory from the C:/ drive. I cannot locate anything at the moment, as I am going offline to sleep, but I am sure you can do a search of the SweepstakeCoin folder in Windows and locate where the wallet.dat file is. That is the directory that your conf file should reside.

Maybe it's problem with your firewall, when you first start your wallet windows firewall usually ask you to allow connections.

Did you "Allow traffic"?

Dumped the SweepstakeCoin.conf file in the folder C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\SweepstakeCoin.
Still does not work.
Really no one uses windows purse?
I have many wallets of other coins and they run instant.

Are you sure you actually created SweepstakeCoin.conf
and not SweepstakeCoin.conf.txt?

That could be the problem if you have options to not show extension of known files.

sometimes the wallet does not lift the net. Try restarting. After 5 minutes, the network will find and download the chain block in 4-5 days.
P.S. Translate Google

It's not important to unlock wallet, that's only for sending coins or staking.
Wallet can be locked or unlocked, you would still have connections and syncing would start after few minutes.

Did you try to turn firewall off?
Also it seems that deamon is not running in your wallet.

try to start CMD, and enter command netstat -a

In active connections try to find if port 17570 is active

Hi crysx! Where is this coin headed? Do you have any plans for a roadmap or whitepaper?

Hi crysx! Where is this coin headed? Do you have any plans for a roadmap or whitepaper?

We have not started on the coin development yet.

We will not do so until all the rest of the backend/background work is done. I've stated that many times before, though we were hoping that development could take place much sooner. SWEEP is third/fourth in line after INFX which is after OSC. So when you see us started on OZC, the chances of INFX then SWEEP soon after is more likely to happen.

The VERY first thing with this coin though is a TOR removal and clean up of the BlockChain Sync, so there is discussion as to whether we should hardfork, or change coding, or just plain do a full SWAP to a newly created codebase. This discussion is prevalent for all the coins we have as well, and there is an idea that we have that needs to be looked into further, that is not a common occurrence like the suggested ones above. This requires focus and dedication to the coding which we just cannot adhere to at the moment.

Much is being build behind the scenes (which looks like at the foreground not much is happening), and as long as the coins are functional, then we do not need to touch them before we are ready to commit to development.

I will be publishing a full (continued) update on the official CWI-Thread here on BCT as to what we have been doing so far and what we will require to finalize all that we have been doing. This will give everyone an indication of where we are headed.

Until then, I (and we) are not about speculation and hype, and will not release anything that we are not certain will be ready when we say it will be.

I not see any problem with sync.
One wallet on POS, second on pool and another one on explorer. All sync without problem.

Explorer end of sync, working now.
http://sweep.it-it.ru:3001/

The explorer doesn't work several days already. Is there any plans about further support of the explorer?

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.
