The prospects of using the Internet of things in the industry are interesting - for large-scale production with the conditions of hazardous production facilities. Is it possible? Or is this functionality intended for civil use?

The main goal of the industrial deployment of IoT sensors is to increase efficiency and reduce costs. If you take the example of transport, the information can be about what traffic on the roads or what CO2 emissions before and after repairing cars. For industrial areas, you can monitor and respond to weather changes in a timely manner and adjust lighting. All this, in the long run, will benefit the production.

Here, the issue of confidentiality will still have to be resolved. Are the data protected during transmission?

DataBroker DAO will provide such companies with the opportunity to sell selective data that will not disclose to competitors the specifics of their production process. Confidentiality is fully controlled and determined by the client.

IoT-sensors will be able to collect a wide range of information about the operation and condition of almost any equipment. In industry, aggregates can be very large and several sensors can be used at once on the same equipment.

DataBroker is not a predictive platform.

DataBroker DAO is the marketplace to sell & buy sensor data. As a decentralised marketplace for IoT sensor data, Databroker DAO enables sensor owners to turn generated data into revenue streams. This will open up a wealth of opportunities for various industries. Data will be used and become more effective. Please check out our whitepaper: https://goo.gl/YLzVGF

Hello,

DataBroker is intended for non-personal data emitted from smart city, smart manufacturing, smart agriculture, etc whereas "smart home" data is by nautre directly personal. To sell such data on DBDAO, the anonymity of the sensor data would have to be ensured (for instance removing geo-coordinates and personal identifiers). This would reduce the marketability of the data however, is required to ensure that the data would not be misused. The inclusion of this data for resell on DBDAO would therefore be subject to screening.

This opens great opportunities for the project and the Internet of things in principle! Managers of Databroker DAO are indeed members of the European Commission, which promotes and develops new technologies, but there is no threat to investors here. This is purely research and marketing activities.
