Hello everyone.

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.

We need blockchain if you can clearly see the beauty of the distributed ledger technology  in action. The problem is, we are having so many ICOs and projects simply build with the aim of getting to exchange and not focused on usability or product delivery. If we have the top100 fortune companies and some governments deploying blockchain, I think their must be something unique about blockchain. The success of a project like Mfchain will make people appreciate blockchain even more, seeing the mass adoption and solution based approach Mfchain is bringing to finance and payments. We need projects that will deliver value and bring blockchain to the people.

Yes ,blockchain technology should be needed by every ICO in this cryptocurrency world because , blockchain technology could really improve the differrent kind of business wherein it can be of help for data storages of that ICO projects or even other business it utilizes the bitcoin technology.

Blockchain is a great technology, but I agree with your thoughts. All ICOs launching a utility token, triy to explain, why their token is needed in their System, but in most cases, their argument is very strained. Probably the real reason of the ICO is, that it is the easiest way to raise money for a startup. There are exceptions of course.

This question in headline is same like question do we need cars? Or do we need computers? Harsh truth is that we don`t need this things, we don`t need many things but anyway we produce and use them. It should be simple, all this things should be helpful to mankind, but are they? Why don`t we drive same cars, why don`t we have same computers? Why some people needs to have better cars, better clothes, better everything or bigger? Just for the prestige? That`s the thing with humans, everything is one big competition, who is better, who is bigger, who is smarter, so now we have so many projects and all of them wish to take first place, serving humanity is on second place. We need blockchain, but we don`t need so many projects, in my opinion it`s better to be concentrated on few good ones, than on all of them.

The truth be told, not everything has to be on the blockchain, and if we take this into consideration and remove greed, we will certainly have few projects being launched through ICOs. And people could use the blockchain without tokenizing any asset on it, blockchain has some useful real life application such as monitoring a supply chain, securing data or records and of such applications

I agree here. There are many compelling applications of bockchain technology especially in record/data  keeping as it is immutable. It can be use for election too and in any industry. Blockchain can speed up  transaction,and help a lot in remittances and financial system.

Of course we need this technology for our comfortable future. Due to this technology everything will be digital like your camera and mobile. We will feel more easiness in life. But to understand this technology we need long time because it is very complicated and even the governments do researches to know blockchain technology. Blockchain technology in all its glory is still an infant and like any other giant technology we have today, it will undergo its growth and development stage which will take a while before its full potentials manifest. You are right and so many of this projects are the cause of all the crises we are having on the blockchain network and also this have lead to high rate of scam project due to their inability to get use in the real life like making it to the exchange and staying on the market and be able to increase in value, mean while the blockchain is now over congested.
