Do you need to install software to run these?

I see they only bring in 0.6 eur a day (4mhs).. They cant be run on public computers when there needs to be software installed, right? Wink

Wow man...

0.6E a day seems like a pretty good stuff to me...

You will need to run a computer.. That consumes power. Would the electricity for a computer cost 0.6 euro per day? Maybe. If not, there's not much left from the 0.6 a day.
raspberry pi takes about 7€ a year if your electricity is same expensive as here  (0.28€/KW/h) (maybe 8$) .. you are still good to go with 0.60$ a day

C'mon, you people.  Most of us are running GPU mining rigs already.  Multi-talk those suckers!  Dual mine on the GPUs, BURST or STORJ on the hard drive, and Scrypt on the USB.  Maybe a little Cryptonight on the CPU.
Your PC can handle it.

Yes, but's it's likely that everyone here on the mining forum is already mining on their computers 24/7, so it's essentially free extra money.

I received this today from Bitmart:

Hello, a note has just been added to your order:

Dear Valued Client, we have just been informed that there is a delay in production, which in return will cause a delay in delivery. Regards Team Bitmart.

For your reference, your order details are shown below. (rest of info deleted)

Hopefully this is nothing.

I have got the same message. I was hoping to get them before December as I won't be in the country as I emailed them on the 7th and they said they were shipping within 10 days. A shame but I guess these things happen. And more than likely I won't be able to run them while I'm on a holiday. Sad

shipping update for you guys in the pre-order thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2141261.msg24515392#msg24515392

Now that production issues are out of the way I can finally sit down and finalize driver/instructions/support thread...keep an eye out for a new thread with driver binaries etc in the next day or two.

hi @jstefanop will this one receive updates: https://github.com/jstefanop/bfgminer or is already up to date for moonlander 2?

Greetings - Astrali

no, I will post drivers probably tomorrow. I just finished some updates to it and am compiling it for all systems/architectures. Keep an eye here ill post a new thread dedicated to just driver/instructions/support.

@jstefanop:
Do you by any chance, have the optimal frequency and Voltage settings (Vol & Pll) for the 2,5-4 MH range of the ML2 ?

I've received a small batch of 9 moonlander units, which will be going out to the first 9 single unit orders. The rest of the preorder units will be arriving sometime next week and will be going out shortly thereafter. All orders will be going out in kit form, with instructions included.
Thanks for your patience!

Any leftover stock from pre-orders that distributors have will be shipped out right after all the pre-orders have been shipped...so probably a week from now.
