Hey everyone,

The fan on one of my moonlanders gave out a few days ago. I noticed that a few people have posted links to replacement fans earlier on this thread. I noticed however that these replacement fans do not come with a connector. That is, they come with bare wires on them. Would you happen to know where I can get the appropriate connector or where I can find a replacement fan with the correct connector?

Thanks!

You can message FutureBit on Facebook Messager and order fans that way.

Thanks! I'll give that a try.

Tried this as a start script
./bfgminer --scrypt -o    stratum+tcp://us.litecoinpool.org:3333 -u Du****iles.Moonlander -p Miles*****,d=128 -S MLD:9ae9aac96dcfe611a233a7bc30f55f2b,10d1cfbe6848e711850d1b920d6e317d,baeaf550535fe711a6e75f0a3f3d1008,12f23ac82148e711811126920d6e317d -S MLD:noauto --set MLD:clock=796
I know on Windows you have to set (-S MLD:\\.\COM*) for each device, ie, (-S MLD:\\.\COM251 -S MLD:\\.\COM250), if you are trying to select certain UNITS or us -S MLD:ALL FOR all MLD it can find.

Has anyone gotten the moonlander to run on Zerg or Zpool? I get very limited shares and responses.

Lots of time I see dead pool or miss matched block contents.

I tried mine on Zerg as well and got the same issue, but my research showed it doesn't really matter if its saying mismatched block contents, no proof of this.  I think its just like the issuing old work message you get on some other fast switching pools.  The difficulty is a little high at Zerg, it says it supports from 2 to 65k but it doesn't really seem to like anything below 50k.

No, almost sold out of the current batch and will probably do one more batch with a cheaper price. Probably will be another year or so before I release an updated stick.

Cool! I will keep an eye out for the  last batch and looking forward to a new stick in a year or so.

I know this post is old, but I still happen to have 3 spare Moonlander fans with a connector, ready to go, never used (because Moonlanders were DOA and I settled them with $, without sending them back).
If anyone is interested, I can send them out as a Large Letter envelope, shipping wouldn't be that expensive. I am in Europe. PM me if you are interested Smiley

worst still i have 10 fans not working at all or not spinning like they used to- and at current prices be costly to buy and suffer the same results as i did

i even rented all futurebit miners on rentals and i got so many not hashing and being abused by rental admins that the rigs are crap and had my accounts suspended cause running them if i run l3 antminers no problem

this..

i got 8 of the M1s and they mined for over a year and a half with little to no issues..
i used the ltc from the m1s to get 8 m2s and these have been nothing but problems..
they take over 2 amps.. so most USB hubs dont work.. the ones that do only work with 2 or maybe 3.
they constantly disconnect and stop mining.. so you have to keep rebooting them.. i made a script to do it automatically but still sometimes the whole rig needed powered off and back on.

some pools they wont even connect to.. they just time out and sit idle.

i paid over 6 LTC for these, plus almost $100 in usb hubs and they have been sitting on my desk for months.. collecting dust :/

like a month after i got these, he announced a pod.. i really wish i got one of those instead.. Sad

i put mine on mininerig rentals and alot of renters cant use them tried diff filtering bypass their pools diff but admin of mrr said my rigs are crap - last thing i need is to look like a tool to cryptoland clients and friends - ones still working that fans siezed up or almost rests just fried chips on me cause they over heated, i regular clean the dust off the heatsinks as they collect quite alot and sieaze up the fan this way also.

When i say seized i cant even move them manually type seized not everyone mines litecoinpool i tried using a diff versoin of bfgminer and they dont even register on them but work fine with other usb devices, gridseeds and quite alot of sha256 usb's . If i was only tool having issues then it my end but alot of people used them on pools i look after my main ones cant get them to work and get penalized or banned to mine ltc pool when these mine beside antminer l3+ rigs and support say i been throwing invalid shares

That's an actually legit reseller.  I do not know if Jstefanop actually endorses him or not. Eyeboot has an actual website, that is is just his ebay listing. You can find to owner of the store around forum too.
