Any plans of increasing the minimum price of the ticket?

0.1 BTC per ticket would turn into a great funding for the jackpot, don't you think so?

Suggestion: maybe announcing 2 weekly raffles (one with min ticket price 0.01 BTC and another with 0.1 BTC) might be interesting.

Forgot to say: that's just a suggestion for when the website is already done.

That's it!  Wink

EDIT: Dabs, can I atleast get 0.05BTC for the tickets back? Seeing as this was your fault and I did not receive my prize, nor did anyone else, I expect my tickets back.

My fault? You received your prize, it was sent back to an address you bought your tickets with. What we're trying to do here is help you find it. It must be somewhere on your computer, or on the old one or something. If you did this with SD, are they going to re-imburse you?

Since I'm a nice guy, let me look for 0.05. I think I have some on PD. heheh. =) But don't say it's my fault. When this becomes automated, I wouldn't be able to help you anymore.

Edit: Besides, the requirement to send to a different pay out address is to sign a bitcoin message using any of the addresses that you used to buy the tickets.

You can buy .1 already. But I understand, you want everyone else to buy that as the minimum as well. I will take note of the suggestion, but I don't think I can implement that just yet. To most people, that's about $10 USD.

What we need is incentive to buy many tickets. Thus so far, we have the worm tickets and the volume tickets, and possible the repeat bettor. I'm still thinking about this one.

Boelens, I will send you 0.05 on three conditions:

1. Can you sign with this bitcoin address 1C16sYNm7iHMNyB8sSRWSgsNqDXJwoJwdf ?
2. You have to buy new tickets worth at least 0.05. This round or next. Up to you. Honesty system.
3. You have to admit it's your fault AND you have to post positive trust feedback (worth 0.05 BTC). hehehe.. click on the left side.

You claimed this as your transaction http://blockchain.info/tx/303cb715affa16a5025cfb1d71e639a597fc1fdb29e6b309d08402a23e296d5d earlier.

You want me to, show to people, that I trust you? For 0.05BTC? I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. You can't buy trust, I'd be willing to give you trust, but it'd be a negative one. Also, I won't admit that it is my fault, when we bought tickets there was nowhere where we could enter our addresses, except now, it's new. You gave me 2 hours and it was 4AM my time, also, at that time I had a tip address in my siggy. I'm sorry, but keep it then, it's not worth that much to me.

0.05 BTC is what we are working with here. Of course, you already trusted me with 0.53 BTC when you won. Then I promptly sent it. I do believe, you are correct and I have the whole idea about this Trust forum thing wrong. Anyway, feel free to do what you want.

The whole system since Lotto Number 1 stated that you have to buy tickets with an address you control or with a compatible wallet. It's not my fault you lost the private key to your own bitcoin address.

For reference, here is the thread of the very first game
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202063.0

This thread, hasn't changed much that basic requirement, it just added more rules for the bonuses and secrets.

The option to change pay out address if ever, should be exercised right from the start, at least everyone can see the signed bitcoin message.

So if it's no one's fault, then I guess it's just bad luck. You still won. You just can't get to your coins. I've followed the rules I outlined exactly as written in the first post. If you can't get to the 0.53 BTC, no one else can, not even me.

Anyway, I'm still a nice guy, do you still want 0.05 BTC? Please post an address. If it's in your sig, I can't read it (maybe it got cut off at the bottom.)

I'm sorry if this is causing you trouble.

It's really neither party's fault. In somewhat similar cases, courts have ruled that it would be unfair to shift the burden to the person who wasn't affected in the first place for something that isn't their fault (ie Dabs).

Trust should never be used as "I'll do X if you give me trust".

Also it is proven that Dabs sent the money to the winner:
http://blockchain.info/address/1KBrihdqn3Ysz2J22FSyyJsYGPUZoQwXR4

So it's definitely not Dabs error and the thing with the 2 hours time to change the payout address: This would have seriously not been an issue normally since IF you are the owner of that address you WOULD have received it anyways.

Also you were able to post that signed message hours before the results were in, so you had 7 days time to send that message.

(In no way is anyone responsible for the corruption of your wallet-file but yourself)

Myself? It isn't corrupt at all. I am the owner of that address, you think I hijacked someone's wallet and used that? I in no way corrupted the wallet.dat, I checked with TF, everything I did is possible and not bad at all.

Mr. 1NhzqMXTvB1JT8ou4GtDSZ1qUMi1jmXCF4 you will receive 0.34689 * 83.33% = 0.28906 BTC in about 2 to 3 hours if you do not post a bitcoin signed message that you want your prize to go to another bitcoin address. The rest will go back into the pot for the next round and the bitcoin transaction fee.

I have only shown the first 8 digits of the hash and transaction id to save space. Someone else kindly do your computations with the revealed secrets and confirm that my computations above are correct. In about 3 hours I will send the prize if no one else complains and shows proof that my low hash is wrong.

Also, while we are all waiting, Mr. TradeFortress, can you explain in a little bit more detail how your "repeat" better proposal works? Perhaps there is a simpler proposal that can be done by hand, like just taking bitcoin addresses and letting people get a small bonus, regardless of tickets bought?

For the next game, if it helps, these are all the bitcoin addresses that have been used since the last two games.
