I'm wondering same thing too. There's only one reason that come to my mind: They know they won't be able to ban or restrict bitcoin because of bitcoin's nature. If they do that people find other ways to buy and keep bitcoin unregistered and illegal way. It doesn't look possible for now.
Yeah, because decentralization and anonymity, it would make the government ban unworthy at all, because users can still freely use
it, the government should know about it, and I think they should change the rules in order to be profitable for both

it will not be possible, maybe they begin to realize the potential for bitcoin for the future. we know the progress of this very rapid and sophisticated technology will increasingly change the times become more advanced. I hope many countries can legalize with bitcoin. maybe that's what many people expect. although it is also difficult and takes a very complicated time.

It's possible somewhat, but as you said the potential for bitcoin is really huge which is the blockchain technology, there's governments who took advantage from bitcoin. Governments were not stupid to ignore the potential from bitcoin, as long as they can make profits they wont let it go

They are afraid that banks would become useless in the future thus they would'nt be earning money from the banks. Banks provides our government somehow big shares in taxes.

You are right. The government knows about the potential of bitcoin, it's just that most governments are afraid of the negative impact of bitcoin misuse, so they make certain rules.

Some countries can't make btc illegal because they find it beneficial to their country and industry. They are predicting that btc will help their industry to boost up for improvement that is why they support it and they regulated it.

No legislature doesn't care for cash and the digital currency industry is worth billions .Bitcoin ain't no risk to no body, some body in China flatulates and a couple of hours after the fact a major tempest hits crypto, they put their specialists as theorists into the Bitcoin's general public and they are basically controlling the market, they are not responsible for the supply but rather they are controlling the cost. I think that most countries around the world do not see bitcoins as a threat, but instead they see something revolutionary in it. Time has proved that more and more the government is beginning to understand its value. War of governments and banks with bitcoin turnover is inevitable. At first, the government did not attach importance to this issue, and now it is too late. They still would like to regulate it, although they impose several restrictions here and there. In the worst case, if they really decide to ban it, it will cause a huge negative response from the public, which will damage their reputation, the government simply does not know what to do with bitkoynom.

Many countries are seeing it the other side which is the positive side of bitcoin. It is a revolutionary technology and it is safe and secure. A government should think of it as an alternative to Paypal or other online companies taking advantage of the ever growing online transactions. A real  government is something that wants to take care of its people and providing them what best it may serve to them.

That is correct, with time many are gradually learning the benefits of the blockchain technology and its ability to expand their respective economies so not all governments around the world can unanimously agree to rendering bitcoin illegal. A handful of them like China i think will agree to this but not the majority around the world.

It is quite clear that the state can not control the movement of bitcoin in their country and receive taxes for it in the treasury. The money flows right past the hands of officials. In addition, the most obvious use of BTC is illegal operations. Arms and drug trafficking. Therefore, many states are against bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

I think that there are still ways to calculate bitcoin transactions. however, this requires more data and Analytics. it has long been proven that bitcoin is not as anonymous as it is presented

They recognize Bitcoin's risk of money laundering, but the government recognizes Blockchain's potential. Moreover, the benefits of Bitcoin are not small

Bitcoin is near to possibly be banned and illegal by governments because it is indeed a risk to their income. Yet, due to the fact that Bitcoin isn't accepted yet in all stores worldwide, they wouldn't ban it because with your expenses and things you buy with fiat been converted from bitcoin comes a percentage of tax that also goes to them.

Yes, Bitcoin is a source of worry to the government world wide. They can not control bitcoin and because of that they will try to destroy it. Bitcoin has been able set a lot people free from wants and give people enough financial freedom.

Bitcoin is used to keep the economy going for some countries like Japan, Greece, Brazil, Venezuela, etc. Maybe that's what many people expect. I also wonder the same thing. Governments should know about that and I think they should change the rules to make a profit for both
