Maybe you could try deleting the Colx folder in Roaming (After making a copy of your wallet.dat) and reinstalling COLX wallet?

I'm also stuck at 10158 at the moment. How come it is still moving so slow? Can we somehow help to speed it up?

Yes, I don't delete any file/folder, but the backups of this folder doesn't work too. What can I do?

If the wallets from your \backups directory don't work, something else is going on because it's hardly possible that all of those files are corrupt.

Basically I would take the most recent backup wallet from the `backups` dir, rename that to `wallet.dat` and start the wallet with only that wallet.dat and ColossusCoinXT.conf in the config directory. I can't think of any reason why that wouldn't work.

b.t.w. I also answered in Slack, so lets continue there.

Glad to see the blockchain finally moving. Some hiccups at the beginning of any new coin (it's new, even if there was a swap) is expected, but these bumps need to get ironed out sooner than later. Would like to see dev involvement here instead of someone who says they're talking to the dev who's working on it...

Always good to have a dev that's willing to discuss what's going on, otherwise, you have an invisible hand in control of your money.

Currently on Block 10175.

I agree.  Latest Addnodes helped.  I'm happy we can put the launch behind us and get to development, marketing, etc.

On a brighter note, the cv2 drop to 1 sat on Nova helped me to get an additional Masternode  Grin
Time to have them ready to rock and roll and start receiving payments.

It's been interesting to observe:  The way price action unfolded during a swap coupled with a hiccup at launch.  But we've rounded that corner and I think that we are on to better times.

Thanks to the poster of the MN setup guide in the Slack channel.  I'm thinking maybe that was you CrunchyCrypto?  I appreciate it.

Yup, my wallet has 112 connections at the moment lol! Well played on the CV2 pickup as well I'd kill for some more at that price! Volume has even been quite good today as well, better than I would have expected given the delays and uncertainty at times.

Agree with you on looking forward now, we should start thinking about getting well-written pieces up on Medium and Steemit and the like to get the name out there. I might give that a crack soon when I'm less busy in coming days/weeks...

Should think seriously about who we market the coin to as well (apart from everyone and their dog of course); I can think of a few potential markets I can see this being of interest to. When my staking rewards come in I was even thinking I might send some of it out to certain organisations/communities as well... just as a way of getting people involved and interested.

Have also looked into the feasibility of adapting existing blockchain visualisations for COLX; again pretty gimmicky but it will be fun for me anyway. Especially once the chain gets up and running proper.

Anyway just wanted to share some ideas I'd had for now. Really excited about this coin if you can't tell already. Grin

You should dump your PRV key from the qt-wallet. In this case if your file/files are corrupted you can install the qt-wallet once again and import your PRV key.
Next time do it! Hope you will get back your coins.

EDIT:
Backup your directory from AppData/Roaming/ColossusCoinXT and what you can try is to run qt-wallet with command option -salvagewallet

-salvagewallet
Attempt to recover private keys from a corrupt wallet.dat on startup

If you got your prv key, delete AppData/Roaming/ColossusCoinXT. Run qt-wallet and import your prv key. When it sync to day when you move your coins you will see your coins back.

Its frustrating but just keep waiting, it doesn't seem like it but average block time is speeding up.

...
I don't want loose my money.

Good news: finamathmatics' wallet was succesfully recovered.

Indeed, all of his wallets, including the backups, were corrupted. I don't know what caused that, but I have no reason to believe that there is any problem with the wallet software itself.

Exporting the private key was not possible btw. And also --salvagewallet didn't do the trick this time. But those were good tips, thank you.

I'll reveal things later in Slack. But first, because he did share his wallet, finamathmatics needs to move his funds to a new wallet and be 100% safe again.

Blockchain is still slow by the way. Will improve with time.
