The ColossusCoin2 wallet is able to hold the new coin, correct?
No, almost every cryptocurrency has its own blockchain and wallet. (except ethereum tokens) There was a guy last week, he send 40 litecoin to a bitcoin wallet. They are gone.. It's like posting a letter to the wrong mailbox, you can't get them back

I'm waiting for mid-October to buy. I think there will be a rush of swaps, and dumps, around when the market closes. After that, the swaps will be low through the swap closing in December and probably start to climb.
My estimate is COLX to go to 3 sat mid-month and possibly touch 2 sats a little (but not long) before starting back up again. Hoping to pick up another 2 masternodes when that happens!
I stand corrected. Looks like the duration at 2 sats is going to be longer than I expected. 2 sats was eaten into handily today. Good chance of touching 1 sat (although I still believe briefly) once we hit mid-month volatility due to CV2 being removed from Nova as a trade pair. Still thinking COLX can recover, but going to be a long couple of months through the end of the coin-swap period.

Pos 3.0 brings inducement for people to operate online (Master)nodes and be active in the staking process. Before 3.0: The best strategy was then to keep your node offline and then only bring it online rarely to get a huge stake payout. People with not many coins got a small stakes while people with lots of coins got large stakes. After 3.0: You need to run your online node 24/7 if you want to get your best interest. If you have a lot of coins and stake all the time you will be granted your interest. If you have a lot of coins and do not stake you will be granted 0% interest. If you have not that many coins and stake all the time you will be granted more especially in situations when not all issued coins participate in the stake process. >monaw<

Yes Note that there is a minimum of seven days between the time you move the coins to your wallet and you receiving a stake. Once coins have received a stake another seven day wait applies. You can split your coins into multiple inputs to increase the potential to stake.

Do you need to go to setting and open your wallet + leave the program/wallet itself open in order to recieve a potential stake? Any1 know the % ratio regarding the stake/POS?

My wallet says Payment file cannot be read its invalid or something in the taskbar baloon. Cant make out exact phrase the baloon goes off quicly for some reason in my laptop. by the time i move cursor its gone. Its day 2 since I have installed wallet and put some coins in it for staking. I have entered "staking=1" in conf file and saved it. Wallet fully synced and the deposit transaction has over 2000 confirmation. Wallet is encrypted and unlocked for anonymization and staking only. Anyone who is actively staking can answer me PLEASE if all this sounds correct to you. DEV seems busy with other stuff. You should join the COLX slack! People come in and ask for help all the time! You can join here https://colossuscoinxt.herokuapp.com

How to stake using your COLX wallet Step 1 Encrypt your walletIf your wallet is not encrypted you will be prompted to enter a password. This password is vital to accessing your wallet so DO NOT LOSE IT. Once your wallet has been encrypted your COLX Wallet will need to close and start back up again. Step 2 Edit your ConfigClick tools and then Open Configuration File… If asked, open with your favorite text editor. Insert the following line in the configuration file… staking=1 Once this is complete save the file and restart your wallet. Step 3 Unlock your walletClick Settings and then Unlock Wallet… This will present you with a prompt. Enter your password from Step 1. Make sure you check the box labelled “For anonymization and staking only”. Final step Wait. Now that you all set up for staking all you have to do is wait (Coins mature after roughly 7 days). Once you see the arrow in the bottom corner of your wallet turn green you will be staking!

there have been multiple people who have figured it out. You should ask for help from the slack before writing it off. Yeah on Linux maybe. Fuck this she said he said storys. Not joining slack and listen to more bs. The Wallet wasnt syncing up before and now the staking doesnt work. And ive done a lot of MNs before, this one has some issues, atleast for the windows release. Fix your shitcoin for the average joe or watch it going down. I think that it simply takes 7 days every single time to mature again when it has staked cause it recombines. Imo has nothing to do with setting up a pw or anything. Just because of frekking untested Parameters. Proof me wrong.

Im telling you to join because we have a guy who has been setting up MN for people on windows and Mac. So chill out. If you still don't want to join because you think we are just going to spew some random shit on you, that is your problem. Im just saying you can get a second opinion on what you may be doing wrong.
