Is this weekely airdrops still valid? I would be happy to take part in it if it is the case. if not, why not? Some other coins are having regular airdrops and reaching new highs every other day.

Seriously, how many times and how long are people going to ignore this issue before something happenes. I have seen this being brought up multiple times for almost a year soon. How hard can it be for a company with almost a half a billion woth of btc in funding to have a waves representative active on social media sites like Bitcointalk a and reddit?  Someone who can answer posts like that.

From my limited understanding of this issue, Sasha scammed his early investors from the nxt platform, promising he would swap their nxt assets for waves assets. Please prove me wrong! I mean, if this is the case how could one then find it justifiable to support this project.

A: Never 🙂  it just has to be done in a correct way, from legal point of view. there’s going to be a fund on Waves soon, and the assets will be swapped.

Yes, i actually read that Q&A. I just hoped they would handle it faster. If there are legal problems about doing such a swap, then it should be shortly explained, swaps are happening all the time in crypto, so one might not understand what the difficulity is.

I have no such funds but i cannot just understand how it is being handled. If waves wants to have a solid reputation, problems such as these needs to be handled quickly and with clear communication. They create clear FUD for new potential platform users (not just waves token speculators), especially when they are ignored. I cannot understand how the waves PR team doesnt see this :/.

Since the launch of the Waves platform I only saw about 5 different users posting this.
If a lot of users would be affected, there would be a constant stream of complaints so I'm not sure about how big this still is.

But this topic is not run by the Waves platform and I'm not support.

How many people are affected? Didn't most of the people already swap during the ICO?

I havent counted how many different users have posted it but that post have been a recurring theme since the beginning of last year. But probably from the same users as you say.

If its only a few affected it should even been easier to handle it faster, maybe even take it out from their own pockets and swap for btc. Its defiently not worth the bad publicity and FUD.

I know that you are not support, but i think you and Magnet maybe should be. There needs to be some representatives for waves here, at one of the largest crypto forums, especially when the original thread got blocked. Someone here needs to have a bit more access to waves internal matters to be able to answer these kind of questions, even if it is - We cannot give any information about that at this time, but we havent forgotten you, more info will be given when NG is released or in a month.

I have also asked about waves funding without any replays both here and in reddit i have seen that it have been asked without replies, just downvotes.

My thoughts as well. I only install those chrome extension because its easy to disable and enable when needed. Right now I have kept my privatekey and phrase on a txt file and will have to reinstall the extension to test the new version.

Last week and this weeks seem to be one of the wildest in crypto, people panic and lose money when they hope crypto will make them richer. Maybe waves will drop to less than $10 too if this turmoil continues. It seem like the whales are going to squeze everything to buy ripples.

Google will stop support for Chrome Apps in Q1 of 2018 so I don't think there will be a new Chrome app.
From what I've heard, the team is working on a brand new client for PC / MAC.
But I'm not sure.

It asks for PIN and Password, etc. however if you log out, you can log in again without using the PIN/Password.  This seems like a very obvious security flaw.

It's been a very long time many new exchanges has comes out, it's time for waves to fix or give us a big update, I still don't give up on this project, I'm hoping they will become the next big ethereum like many experts are predicting.

I think waves is one of the coins with a real benefit. Not only issuing tokens. They are already working on regulation self regulation.
