Hello everyone, my first post here, hopefully I can realize my dreams with help of the community.

I'm planning to do an initial investment of $500 in crypto currencies. $100 for 5 separate crypto currencies. I'm thinking of XRP, Adcoin, maybe Ethereum and 2 more. Any advice related to the choice of coin?

My goal is to find at least one Unicorn which will generate me maybe $30k in the next years. Which coins would you invest most likely in to achieve this goal?

For me the five best coin to invest with are the bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum , bitcoin cash and NEO.
This five coin has a good future in the coming year 2018.
We all know that there are a lot of coin coming out in the industry
So its really better if you make a research about the coin that you are going to invest.
So you could have a good profit, and an in proving investment.

hallo friend, how about ethereum, minexcoin, monaco, coindash, and monetha? I think the altcoin has good potential in the future.

Monetha is long gone. The ico was a disaster. Everyone who hodl actually got burned along with the dying hype. Coindash is still a solid option. MinexCoin, Monaco and Ethereum makes my list too. I will add Enigma too. The project has been solid thus far.

I really have believe and trust on electroneum and ada (cardano). I think cardano is really a good investment and I think this is the only investment along with electroneum to watch in 2017 and I think both have enough potential to boom in 2017. Other than that I think right now the most secure investment is litecoin etherum and bitcoin along with iota.

It may be very difficult to get to $30K with a $500 and distributing it into 5 coins/tokens as that would translate to 6,000% gain.
When you say in the next years, are referring to 5 or 10 years? The time horizon is essential and critical. Your risk tolerance as well - will you sell the token/coin if you lose 80% of it's value.

Best to find a "unicorn" that is currently doing an ICO/TGE and place at least $250 on it. Perform due diligence - Caveat Emptor!

I have most of my money in BTC

Some in Ethereum...because, why not it is the second biggest after BTC.

Then:

Stratis - absolutery great roadmap, right now it is about 11 dollars, in 2018 i believe in 100.

NEO - It went about 20% today and 2018 is going to be the year of NEO trust me on this, it is going to hit 500 dollars

Siacoin - really interesting and hardworking devs

Omise Go - again good devs, good idea and some great things to come in Q1

BAT - a lot of people says it is shit coin without future but i think in short term it can do it work plus the idea is really good

SHIFT - Right now i dont own anything but is on my 2018 must have list. I am going to put there at least 1 ETH, it is one coin am almost sure it can hit at least 10x in 2018

Syscoin - again big news are coming in January and February but it is not at bittrex so I wait with buying


In short term i think best is BTC, BAT and Einstaineum all of them have some major news coming in next days.

It looks too good to be true.  I bought in ICO and so far it was an amazing investment.  Wait until the big crowd finds out this thing has stability AND it pays 3-5% per week...  It needs a bigger exchange though.  This thing listed on one of the major exchanges and we're seeing x3 (about $100).

Minexcoin is nice, the price is very stable (~30 USD) with interest rate ~3.7%/week

for me,theres only 3 altcoin that has a bright future next year and that is Ethereum,Monero and Neo this 3 alts will have a better movement in 2018 aside from good project this 3 has a potential to growth and make their own way to high value

Rise will be a good investment..  Rise has huge potential. Many different programming languages, new company structure with foundation set up in Gibraltar. I see this as an excellent long term hold because of the team and their determination. Reasons to invest are Blockchain Incubator, Mobile app store, fast and easy to use wallet, staking, low market cap.

Your target is getting $30k from $500. That is really a hard mission. However, I also give you some advice. The first $500 is not a big budget, so you should choose cheap coins to invest such as Ripple, Stellar, Playkey, Civic and Siacoin. The second, with each coins, you have to research and set an target entrying and exiting price. And the third remember that do not greedy.
