There's no possible 'random' method of determining block rewards. Whatever mechanism you have in place will be cheated to hell in back. Just like with junkcoin.

^^ This. And of course, that is something that OP knows and have used to pre-mine the first 500 blocks VERY profitably.. DERP!

Proof? yeah thats right none the jelly on your face is to much, you mad that devs make some awesome coins and you sit there circling jerking yourself?

I've added a new p2pool.

Here are the parameters:

cgminer --scrypt -o next.afraid.org:8116 -u yourLKYaddress -p . --queue 0 -s 1

statistics available here: http://next.afraid.org:8116. This pool use a PPLNS payout scheme, and is stratum enabled.

3% fee.

----
This one is up, and fully reliable.

I've added a second node connected to the main one (next.afraid.org:8116), available at least for the next 24h. More bandwith with:

second node:     pool.afraid.org:8116

Now the load is OK for both servers. And the coins are there.

As far as I'm concerned these servers work fine.

If you have any issue with the main server: next.afraid.org:8116, you may use the second one: pool.afraid.org:8116.  These two server are connected, and are on two different locations.

I use this pool for the last 45mn, it works well. I stay here for the night.

Using a reliable pool increase the coin income... I don't want to check my rig all the day and all the night... The failure recovery has its limits...

This is the one -  Reliability, bandwidth and some MH/s, this is the key.

How is difficulty up to 4 on this already??  It was released like one minute ago.  Why on earth is anyone still mining ?

Difficulty is at 4 because of the large number of early adopters.  You're probably used to the other recent coins that had millions of coins instamined in the first few minutes that were shortly dumped thereafter.  The lower supply and no single person holding a majority share of the coins should actually help this coin keep some value and credibility.

In the case of the p2pool:

cgminer --scrypt -o next.afraid.org:8116 -u yourLKYaddress -p . --queue 0 -s 1

statistics available here: http://next.afraid.org:8116. This pool use a PPLNS payout scheme, and is stratum enabled.

The PPLNS windows is set to 1 hour, so you will get the expected payout after only a few blocks found. Anyway, the default configuration is around 24H. You have to mine days and night to reach the expected value, not fair at all...

Ha ha, not like Cryptohunter is a LITTLE more competent then you are or anything. But go ahead, and pretend you didn't premine this coin when you start selling it in blocks of 100k in a few hours.

Currently on block 1300 - there are only a total of ~120,000 coins in existence.

You MIGHT be forgetting the 'Luck' blocks here.. Oh and first 500 blocks. Premine.

The 58x reward is only paid every 10,000 blocks.  We're on block ~1300.  The other "lucky" blocks are insignicant.

500 blocks is only slightly more than 40,000 coins.  Out of a total of 200 million coins, this is nothing.  Even if the dev got as many as 40k coins, which is highly doubtful, fair play.  At even a price of 10 LTC per 1k coins, that amounts to around $1200.

I mined and sold over $15,000 of feathercoins in only a few minutes at launch.

I was looking at the p2pool: p2p.sytes.net:19335, it displays 188 LKY per blocks. It rather creepy to see an incorrect value as important as coin per block value.

As far as know, this one is reliable, and the main values are not buggy: pool.afraid.org:8116

What's wrong with my pool?

Well I started mining and within a few minutes both my rigs had stopped completely then started up again 30 seconds later running at low hashrate.

Then a few minutes after that I stopped changed pools, I can test again if it would help you.

Stratum was a little buggy, but now it seems  good.

There is no advantage in mining this coin at diff 4x, better to mine other coins with lesser difficulties like GLD

Except it was an ultra-instamine. A few people got an absurd amount of coins in the first 20 minutes or so before difficulty went up to sane levels. One guy here racked up 16k coins in the beginning.

We've seen better ways to tackle this with ascending block rewards - see DigitalCoin and Nibble. It seems obvious to me the OP decided to use a flawed approach so he could get lots of coins for himself. If you want to support that go ahead...

If the most important thing is the number of coins to you rather than the value of the coins, you can always mine the testnet.
