Maybe a new coin or token will be born that will replace bitcoin but that is not reasonable unless all countries reject bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a king of all because it exists before others long ago. The possibility of bitcoin to die is 0% and vehemently it happened then that is the end of al altcoin. No bitcoin no crypto currency because many people will be discouraged to invest in other.

Bitcoin is not only the first cryptocurrency, it is an indicator of the entire cryptomarket. So if it dies, then the market will be destroyed and all coins will depreciate. Investors will be at a loss and I doubt that confidence in the cryptocurrency will ever recover.

According to this, most altcoin is for bitcoin. When Bitcoin goes down then altcoin usually goes down. But Bitcoin rises then usually altcoin rises. And the new Cryptocurrency will act as a new benchmark for all other cryptocurrencies. , but will continue to run like nothing happened.

Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
I think it only depends what is the reason why bitcoin would die. A lot of coins are just relying to bitcoin, if bitcoins's price would decrease then the other coin would do the same.  In my own opinion, if bitcoin would die then i think there will be no coins at all. We all know that bitcoin is the first crypto currency made successful then some people called it as mother of all currency. If the mother of all currency will be gone then it is so possible that the other coin would do the same

If Bitcoin falls further, it will eventually open the way for even more altcoins to dominate the crypto space.

It's well known that the schism between a minority of Bitcoin core developers and more practical proponents like Roger Ver have caused a lot of problems for Bitcoin brand, and its usability as a currency is way down compared to last year, regardless of the reasons. That's part of why altcoins gained such a stronghold and seized a huge portion of the overall marketshare, whereas it used to be Bitcoin was in overwhelming dominance, but these hierarchies, as with all early tech ventures, can change rapidly.

Bitcoin may die when a new virtual currency emerges better than bitcoin.
But this is not likely to happen.
Bitcoin is currently in great demand, and many believe that bitcoin will continue to rise in value.

It's an interesting point. If Bitcoin starts falling, so will the other coins but if it dies completely another altcoin might replace it, while probably being as low as possible.

I read a nice article on the BTC and altcoin downtrend. Most logical and researched approach by the author. Read more here http://www.altcointrend.com/2018/03/16/when-btc-goes-down-altcoins-plummet/

There is no particular problem of making an exchange for other crypto currencies or even fiat money, this will not be the cause of death atls

I think that even if this happens, the btc will quickly find a replacement, if, for example, bitcoin cash will climb up it will simply be replaced where there was btc. In fact there is nothing special and will not happen.

Im interested to know how all market would behave after for example bitcoin would die, im still strong proponent of regulating the market somehow different, because this is not normal that it is all dependant of such a voilatile crypto like bitcoin

For me, I personally think that it would become hard for bitcoin to die completely, but we don't know what will happen in the future. And I think Bitcoin and Altcoin do not have any such connection. Altcoins value is not depend on Bitcoin value, it's depend on its project is good or not. But as bitcoin is the fuindamental currency therefore it will have great effect on altcoin.

If Bitcoin die will be any other coin will change it, there are alot potential coins that has more benefits than Bitcoin. So although Bitcoin die altcoins still life , only make effect with the price. The cryptocurrency community is big so its never die at all.

I am not familiar what an altcoin is, where altcoin is used, and how altcoin was used. But in my own opinion, bitcoin will not die when altcoin dies because bitcoin has it's own value. Bitcoin doesn't depends on other coin to rise it's value
Altcoins are the other cyprtocurrencies which were created when the bitcoin and blockchain was a huge success people converted to bitcoins and it was the trend of the century.i think that other altcoins will suffer massively if somehow bitcoin dies which is not technically possible because all the digital currencies are inter related to each other and currently bitcoin is their leading them so its death means the death of all digital currencies.

I think that a new altcoin will surely rise if bitcoin falls. If market conditions are still a lot of interest cryptocurrency then a altcoin will survive.
