Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins

I don't think so. But maybe it will go this way, if Bitcoin dies altcoin will rise. Since the demand is being divided into alts and Bitcoin. It is just that Bitcoin is having a larger community and market value. So if Bitcoin will be gone, all the demand that it is getting and its community will go or be moved to altcoin that will make altcoin something to look forward with if this thing will happen.

I only think of a limited scenarios in which Altcoins won't die along with Bitcoin and that is when all Bitcoin holders have migrated or shift into the next big cryptocurrency available, but that is of only Bitcoin failed by itself. But if the government have dofferent views otherwise then Bitcoin and other altcoins will die together because Bitcoin is the biggest cryptocurrency in terms of market share, and other are only trading altcoins to earn Bitcoin in the process.

This is true because if bitcoin falls, bitcoin users might jump on the next big altcoin there is. And also altcoins dont have the same developers so its really hard to see all of the altcoins dying and disappearing. A new altcoin will surely rise if bitcoin falls.

Yes because not all alt coins have the same platform as what bitcoin has. Bitcoin may lose its market value in the future for example, but a new successor will follow its path for sure and would become the alpha of all digital coins.

In my opinion of bitcoin is if bitcoin dies then altcoin and others die too because seen from the various coins that there is only the most valuable bitcoin and the topmost level so that the other coin coin just bitcoin existing.

In my own opinion, if bitcoin dies, altcoin would probably die too because bitcoin and altcoin has a big connection to each other that there prices are almost connected in their exchanges from altcoin to bitcoin. Bitcoin die when no internet without electricity

I do not know, there are so many coin platforms that have their own company. if only bitcoins are dead, there may be some coins that do not die, such as eth, waves, and other coins that use the platform.

For example, if all the world governments unite together and declare the possession of Bitcoin as a criminal offense, then it can lead to a severe decline in the number of individuals actively using Bitcoin. Perhaps in the past, but I don't think that this is the case now and getting much less so moving forward into the future. The more gateway cryptos and alt cross base pairs there are, the less of an impact btc will make.

I think its so sad if ever bitcoin die. Bitcoin is a great help for everyone in the digital currency. Bitcoin is the center and heart of crypto's so for me if the journey of it ends im sure other altcoin also end. Because as we all know some altcoin is just depending on the value of BTC.

Ridiculous. From the past experience, I would firmly say that the altcoins prices will increase only when there is a spike in the exchange rates of Bitcoin. But now the situation is slightly different. A lot of people are amassing Bitcoins so that they could get the free Bitcoin Gold coins after the forking. That is the reason why the exchange rates are going down now.

as far as I know the altcoins prices will increase only when Bitcoin price increase.

Right now it is pegged to bitcoins. But how about Opendex/OpenLedger. The currencies are not pegged with bitcoin. You just need to do more research. Not all exchanges are obsessed with bitcoins. So in case bitcoin dies which is never going to happen, alt coins will take over.

I think if bitcoin dies it will generate more skepticism of cryptocurrencies in general. Hence, while we all favor one or the other, it's probably not a good idea to want a major cryptocurrency to perish. This begs the question: which cryptocurrency would be next?

And why in the first place is it going to die? It isn't feasible at all because it will take the whole world to completely abandon bitcoin at a go and that isn't happening any time soon until perhaps a better cryptocurrency technology emerges on the scene.

I cant think of a way that bitcoin will die but if it will die the all coins will become wary as i just thought. And down it goes all coin will go down or even all the cryptoworl. But it will never happen, bitcoin will never die , it will exist even in the black market.
