I don't expect bitcoin to die but if it die and people are into other cryptocurrencies, then there will be still a market for cryptocurrencies. Coins die when people are no longer trading it so when people stop trading in btc, it will die and the coins they will choose will continue to exist. If crypto in general dies, it means that people no longer use or trade crypto.

There is a high chance and possibolity of all altcoins dying as soon as bitcoin dies. Afrer all, you couldn't invest your money on ither altcoins like ethereum, ripple and the likes if you haven't yet invested money on bitcoin. I am sure that when the bitcoin dies all altcoin is will surely die too, because a lot of people is will loose there money when the bitcoin will die, and a lot of people will be afraid now to trust all the cryptocurrency, when bitcoin will die.
