Given China's recent ban on ICOs do you think this will increase the price of privacy coins like Monero, Spectre, Cloak, Verge and ZCash?
Do you also think that this will give NEO a monopoly on 'approved' ICOs in China?

Well, given that among these projects only XSPEC has got TOR(the proven anonymity way to go) integrated and it works in TOR blocked country which China is, you don't have to be a math teacher to calculate a model where it grows x times given the scare that government imposes on its people

That's a reasonable assumption. I certainly hope so as I hold a good amount of some of those I'll have to look up XSPEC, I hadn't heard of it.

In principle, the ban by the Central Bank of China on the conduct of the ICO should lead to an increase in the price of the digital currency, especially used and maintained in China, such as NEO, because some of the money previously sent for ICO support will now go to investing in crypto

The Chinese people are incredibly skilled at working around what their government constructs to mess with their lives. They'll find that there are crypto's like xspec out there that will suit them just fine.

Likely China would ban the sale of anonymous coins on their exchanges if they ever became popular.

I think it will make Anọn coin more valuable especially spectre once the Chinese discover they can use it even where tor is blocked.

I think yes, even more if future ICO's start accepting privacy coins like Dash, Zcash, Moreno, ... Soon or later fungibility and privacy will be the norm

That project is a scam with the worst initial distribution I have seen in a while and also the most collusion I have seen with a couple of exceptions. they delete all comments regarding this on their thread. First they claim its because the requoting is the issue then you post without a requote and they delete it again. Total sign of a scam coin. avoid xspec bans and regulations on ico issued tokens will increase demand for POW generated tokens. Look into quality POW COINS and maybe start creating some mining rigs.

I think it is a great thought of you to say that and I can say that your reason is good and it is reasonable. Probably this phenomena will make anonymous coins go up or pump in the next days.

Seeing as how Xspec dropped OBFS4 in their last wallet build, I'd expect that program and that coin to become significantly more popular in areas that are trying to crack down on cryptos and have already cracked down on TOR usage. I think this will be a good thing for cryptos in general because it shows they are doing EXACTLY what they were intended. They are decentralizing currency away from large centralized entities. As that happens more and more governments will crack down more and more. Similar to illegal drug trade, this will increase the value of coins in general... Unless they can find a way to regulate them which I would personally hate.

I saw another post where you were claiming this, but I haven't seen proof of this being a scam at all. The devs are still working on the code and the community has been making strides to grow marketing where it was neglected before in favor of delivering an exemplary product. Why not come join us in the slack channel. We wouldn't mind if your FUD spreading was warranted but I think you'll find that xspec is a legitimate project with a lot of support. Deep Onion on the other hand... ^^

I guess the ICO Ban is only positiv...bad guys are out or need to find another way to scam ppl... China only want to protect his citizens. Later on it will get regulated i think. If we talk about anon Coins dont forget to mention DeepOnion! One of the most promising anon coins. Biggest Community! No ICO, fairly distributed Airdrop. I only can advise this to everybody...take a look! https://deeponion.org/community/

Yes it will probably make untraceable currencies more valuable. We probably see a lot of new bans and regulations from other countriest in the following years and that may cause people to buy private coins.

Will China's Ban on ICOs increase the price of anon coins? Poloniex.com remove trading without verification, so anon coins useless now.
