What If Bitcoin is banned in your country will you still use it?

If you use it how will you? How will you exchange it and how will you completely use it as you do before.
i guess if it was banned in my country, i would find a way to convert my total amount of bitcoins to another coin that is legal in my country. Then i guess this may be one of the ways to make it legal, but if we really think about it, the only thing that stand agains the bitcoins are law hackers and the people that are agains its value and what it could do.
I don't  believe that bitcoin will banned, but if it is happen I think I was back into reality that I need to over time to supports the needed of my family. Moreover I just need to think a newly part time job to earn additional or extra income.

I never thought that Bitcoin would be banned, because I do not think Bitcoin is a job that harms a person, but I think Bitcoin helps and benefits everyone, especially those who do not have a job. At Bitcoin they always get it and can buy whatever they want, so if the government forbids Bitcoin I also can not imagine how my future fate will be, because all I get is in Bitcoin.

Don't really think this is possible since there is just no point in banning Bitcoin. The countries that ban bitcoin would just be crippling themselves and their economy. Most countries would just tax Bitcoin instead of taxing it.

Actually, When government sees that people are earning and using bitcoins without paying tax some people in from the government will think that no money is coming to us, then they will try to ban bitcoin and may put tax on it.

YES! I get your point.
It is the government. They want to have a part on everything the people get their income. So YES there is a chance that if the goverment found out about bitcoin they may ban it because it is government and it powerful. But they only ban "the use" of bitcoin. So I will still seek to earn bitcoin. I may just save it in my wallet and not used it or convert it into cash until that issue is so trending and fresh. It will also fade as the time pass by. Maybe it will take a long time.
I may also cash it out in the other country when I travel where the bitcoin is not ban.

I would still use it. Not sure how the government can really find out you are using bitcoin unless you walk around screaming about it. They could block the exchanges, but you can use proxy or VPN to go around it.

I would like to ask you how will you still use it?'
When It will be banned in your country then how can you use it or how can you exchange it in your cash? It will be useless for you isn't it?
Yes how will you use bitcoin if it is banned? But for me if bitcoin was banned therefore the hope of people will decrease. Bitcoin is giving hope to all people who are dependent of it so I think bitcoin will never be banned.

Well if really someday Bitcoin was banned i would still use it. Cause there is no way the government can track the transactions..or find the transfers made. And this is the best thing about bitcoin. It's also useless to ban Bitcoin in my personal opinion.

Bitcoin is already basically banned or under threat of ban in a lot of places and people are still using it. Certain things can be easily banned however bitcoin is not one of those things so I imagine it will still have continued use.

I will still use it for some transaction, don't matter what happens, still many ways to sell bitcoin..,we just ask mr.google before do it  Grin
The local government cannot fully impose the banning of the usage of Bitcoin in their country. I cannot think of a way that they can do to monitor each and every individual that may be have been using Bitcoin. So if it happens here, I will continue earning some Bitcoins.

I'll just find a way in order to hide my work from our local ISP. I believe that this ban will eventually be lifted.
Although the government cannot banned all Bitcoin user and stop using it, but they can make us cannot create transaction when use Bitcoin. Example if they banned all miners of Bitcoin, do you think the Bitcoin blockchain system still running normally?

They can target exchange but they can't stop BTC.

It will only be more difficult to buy BTC with FIAT and also to cash out.

I think I will not exchange because I will transfer to the other country where bitcoin was not banned. I will still hold my bitcoin and I will continue to use it because I do believe that it will help to achieve my goal. I hope bitcoin will never banned because it has negative effect in bitcoin community.

The odds of this are very slim and everyone knows this. The fact is that the banning in China has never even really held in place. It is too hard to control and to hard to police. The authorities hit the entry and exit points where the FIAT exchange happens and that is the best they can do without going crazy and using huge resources and finances.
Bit coins can never be banned by any authority because it’s the people’s choice. It is owned by a lot of people and have several investors from all over the world. If ever this happens then who is going to fill a huge loss of people. What will the investors of bit coin get in return? So this is never going to happen.

That depends, but I don’t think it’s possible all countries will ban Bitcoin at a time. Even if some bans bitcoin, others won’t do the same. But if my country happens to be on the list of the countries banning Bitcoin, then VPN comes in useful or I might just convert to Fiat immediately.

Well if BTC will be banned I think I will rushly cashed out some of my btc and start a business, o don't want to go in jail of course and I will keep my remaining BTC in my electrum and will patiently wait for the government again to not ban again the BTC.
This is a hard choice but we must obey the rules of our own country because if we are not careful enough. We will be spending our whole life in jail and I won't exchange my freedom here to some cash.
If government of a particular country possesses the authority to legalize the use of bitcoins then I am afraid it has the power in its hand to do the opposite also. No doubt they cannot control the bitcoins fully but the usage of bitcoins by public openly would not also happen.

Well I guess we sort of got an answer to this recently. China banning Bitcoin did not go over so well, and the price dropped by 10% (or more) overnight. However, it rebounded now so I guess that is a good thing.

Bitcoin is decentrailesd so the fact of getting it banned is nearly very difficult becuse it is not dependent upon any  one organisation or any other if some countries ban it from using it will simply be the end of democracy is such countries but the fact is in this modern era nothing can be stoped on the long run people will eventually find some way to trade with it.So the fact of Bitcoin getting banned is nearly impossible because it was based on the fact that no one person can decide its future.
